Hybrid Guidelines

1. Hybrids inherit weaker powers from each fairy type you are.
  For instance, let's say they're a fire/water hybrid. They would theoretically get both the Manipulate Water and Manipulate Fire powers. However, these would manifest weaker. They would be able to manipulate 50% less than a full fairy would be able to.  
2. If they are a part of more than one type that has a 'commune with creature' ability, they are only able to obtain one. They could not speak to both land mammals and underwater animals if they were a water/earth hybrid.
 
3. For granted traits, they would not gain every single one. Pick and choose wisely.
 
4. This can be an interesting challenge for your hybrid fairy, and can lead to fun ways to mess around with their story and how they might progress. Some hybrid fairies may choose to hone in on one ability over the other, while others may try to find ways to merge their powers to create something entirely new!
  For example, perhaps a sky/fire fairy would work to combine their abilities to create light powers like that of the sun. It can be a fun creative experiment to come up with the different ways powers can work when infused together!  
5. We ask that you don't pile on a ton of powers and traits to prevent hybrid fairies from becoming too overpowered. Rather, you are given challenges to work with and a base for your own creativity to figure out how you might handle these combined traits :D
