Earth Fairy

Due to their adaptability to various land areas on Faetalia, Earth Fairies are the most commonly found type. Rooted in their strong connection with nature, they extend the same respect to the creatures and plant life around them that they would any other fairy.

Often taking on the roles as farmers, florists, gardeners, and bakers, these fairies embrace a hands-on-approach, relying less on magic and more on their practical skills to sustain themselves. However, when magic is needed, they're more than capable of wielding it.

Earth Fairies embody grounded and down-to-earth qualities, maintaining rationality in situations where other fairies might falter. They inspire a reverence for all life, making sure to emphasize the delicate balance between personal interests and the well-being of others, discouraging greedy exploits. They are known for their communal spirit, thriving in group activities and valuing the formation of tight bonds.

These Fairies play a pivotal role in maintaining the harmony of Faetalia, ensuring that every living being thrives within the embrace of the natural world they so deeply cherish. When an Earth Fairy is around, one can rest assured that the flowers will keep on blooming, and a new friend is just around the corner.

Physical Traits

While you are free to be creative when making your characters, there are some traits which are often found within Earth Fairies. These are not rules so much as guidelines. Take your pick!

Common Traits:

• Flowery/plant hair

Uncommon Traits:

• Plant growth on body, like flowers or vines wrapped with limbs
• Wooden skin
• Stoney skin

Rare Traits:

• Animal features (ears, antlers, tail)
• Seasonal appearance (appearance changing with the seasons)

Powers

Each fairy gets a Inherited Power that they are born with. A fairy will then do their best to master their abilities within that power set and eventually develop Talents. Inherited Powers naturally start off weak, and becoming stronger in one's abilities comes with the discovery of one's talent.

Inherited Powers

1. Plant Magic – Fairies born with this power set are gifted with the ability to manipulate and control plant life. This can vary from helping existing plants flourish, or sprouting some of their own and supporting their growth.
2. Communication with Land Animals – These fairies have the ability to communicate with land mammals.
3. Earth Magic – These fairies can control the earth, including the soil, dirt, rocks, and even gemstones.

You may only select one Inherited Power, and it must be one of these three. You are able to be more creative with talents, which will stem from the Inherited Power.

Talents

Each talent stems from the fairy's Inherited Power, and vary in rarity, with some talents harder to accomplish than others.

There is plenty of room for creativity when it comes to talents! As long as it in some way relates to the inherited power, and isn't too overpowered, we are excited to see what you come up with!

However, there will also be a level lock when it comes to coming up with your own talents. You must reach level 5 within the server for your fairy to acquire the talent, but you can still put on your doc that they are aspiring for a specific talent that isn't listed here!
