Pearlgrave

According to stories told in the region Pearlgrave once was a mine worked by dwarves, containing deposits of copper, iron, or even silver depending on who is doing the telling. Named for its reportedly pearl white outcropping of quartz scattered across the surrounding area. It has, however, been many a decade since an honest copper was earned in this mountainside settlement. For over a century it has been used as a base of operations by various gangs of ruffians, currently a group of vicious killers under the lead of a bloodthirsty orc called 'The Scragger' for reasons unknown to all who live to tell the tale. This camp of horror must be avoided at all costs, dear reader, it is a place that no good and true traveller could hope to escape with their purse and very lives. Be sure to give this murderous den a wide berth when travelling through the valley.   But you, my dear reader, may be wondering how could I, Guiseppe the Bard, know so well such a wicked and devious place? That is because I have been there, 'tis true. You are likely wondering how could I have partaken is such a brave yet foolhardy venture? Through deception my friends, the brazen yet calculated art of misdirection, the mysterious allure of incognito, the decisive athleticism of sleight of hand.
