Lord Richard ´Dick´ Ashendale
A powerful warlock from another Prime Material Plane, Chief Warlock of the Brothers of Darkness, Lord of the Thirteen Hells, Master of the Bones, Emperor of the Black, Lord of the Undead, Lord of the Dance (nominated by himself on a whim), Mistress of Magma (gained by killing the former holder of the title), King of the world (also nominated by himself), and any title except Dick. The black cloaked figure is a terror to all who meet him. He is a scourge of many undefended hamlets and villages, and a slayer of kings.
He is a tall thin figure clad in a black robe and vale. On his side he wields a jewel encrusted Scimitar of Returning, but he rarely wields it preferring his claws. He also carries a pink, blood stained, hand bag. This bag is a Bag of Holding full of various ´pets´ and beats to be released on unsuspecting peasants. He also wears a red gem on his robe that acts as a arcane focus for his magic. But this to is rarely used with him preferring a Staff of the Magi taken from a ulitharid.
He rampages through the countryside, attacking and slaughtering villages with a macabre humor. His victims are often killed in gruesome and creative ways. examples are cutting a man´s head off and turning it into a hand puppet, removing the faces of villagers and turning the now headless faces into curry, and animating the skeletons of a group of guards while the bones were still in them.
This brutality has lead to many bounties and warrants put out for Mr. Ashendale (don´t call him Mr. Ashendale). No one but the most brave of foolish adventurers have tried to collect on these offers. This is due to his danger in combat and nigh invulnerability. He can be burnt, stabbed, bludgeoned, shocked, frozen, decapitated, buried, petrified, mauled, Etc and still survive well past what even powerful undead can.
Many have speculated what can cause such resilience. Some say he is a lich and that the gem on his neck is his phylactery, and that he just possesses the nearest body to him. Others say that he is a demigod of murder and slaughter who can only be slayed by another divine. Richard himself says that ¨I drank a lot of milk when I was alive."
Richard has recently purchased Blackrazor from The People Who Do Jobs For Money.
