Elder Gates
Constructed by Halaster Blackcloak and placed throughout Undermountain are the Elder Gates. Large arches or portal that can be used to travel through the different levels of Undermounain. Each are opened in a different and unintuitive way, ways like poking it with a stick or inserting a coin into a slot. But be warned, those who open a gate have no way of knowing where it leads or what danger is contained behind it. Another danger is that of the Elder Rune, magical runes casted on the gates and other doors by Halaster with unpredictable effects.
