Session XIII: wandering thither Report
General Summary
Our group arrived at Little Oak. Unexpectedly Zendarya wandered off into the forest with Clapperclaw. The rest of the group found a group of children playing around the base of the tree.
When Wallace and Tootie the children scattered and hid. Will of the Feywild appeared and told the group to stand down. After a bit of discussion, Will mentioned they had found someone else wandering about their tree. When they returned with their prisoner it turned out to be Shiro tied and gagged. They convinced Will to let him go.
They discussed the need to confront Skabatha and retrieve a portrait for Bavlorna in order for them to get back the items of theirs she stole. Will agreed to assist them if they would help free the children that are enslaved in the workshop. During their planning, Little Oak disclosed that Loomlurch, Skabatha Nightshade's home, is the remains of his mother.
It was suggested by the other children at Little Oak that they go to the Wayward Pool to speak with the unicorn. They shared the secret for how to get to the pool. When they arrived Tootie and Wallace, along with Shiro, went to the islet in the center of the pool. There they met Lamorna, a unicorn, and asked them to free her mate, Elidon , from Skabatha's imprisonment. When they were finishing their conversation they were attacked by Zarak .
Lamorna promptly disappeared and Zarak was convinced not to fight. Zarak provided the group with information about his employer and The League of Malevolence . They hired him to retrieve a unicorn horn. In exchange for information, the group agreed to take him to see Nib and his pile of treasure.
When they arrived at Nib's cave, Zarak immediately took as much gold as he could carry and left, dooming himself to share in Nib's curse. Nib gifted Shiro a Periapt of Wound Closure.
