Session XI: picking a fight Report
General Summary

Our session begins with the party picking a fight with Bavlorna . Shiro immediately cast Thunderclap and failed; only one of the lornings took a hit. Mirum m immediately tackled Shiro to stop him from continuing to attack.Lemli , still a rat, ran out the door to avoid combat.

Thurmst moved in to heal the injured lorning. The other lornings rushed Shiro and put daggers to his throat. Bavlorna immediately moved in and swallowed Shiro.Zendarya successfully persuaded Bavlorna to let Shiro go. She reluctantly regurgitated him onto the floor.

When she did, a key came up as well and landed on the floor. Wallace tried to retrieve the key but was noticed doing so. Mirum tried to keep the key by palming it and failed; when returning it, he faked tripping and was able to give her the wrong key.

Once the combat and awkwardness were resolved, Bavlorna agreed to negotiate with the party for the return of their lost items. The group protested but eventually acquiesced to the negotiations. Bavlorna asked the group to retrieve a painting from her sister, Skabatha Nightshade.

Recognizing that they needed to get to Thither she gave them Clapperclaw's head so he would be their guide.

The group went back to the court of King Gullop XIX for a rest and to report in on the delivery of Bavlorna's book.

The group took a balloon with Clapperclaw as their guide and Morgort as their pilot. Just as the balloon was lifting off, Lemli, as a rat, jumped into the balloon and turned back into herself.
