Session V: In search of a key Report

Our intrepid adventurers struck out to look for Jingle Jangle at Telemy Hill. They carried Sir Talavar in his cage towards their destination. Lemli caught up with the group after being dropped elsewhere by the portal from the carnival.
  As they tracked toward Telemy Hill, 7 mud mephits rose up from the muddy swamp and challenged the group. They challenged them to figure out the mephits favorite food. When they could not, the mephits attacked. Scaldedstar NefertikiTorch used her fire breath to blast 5 of the 7. They took the damage and kept coming. Wallace killed one via his monk skills and was coved in mud, and restrained, by a Death Burst from the mephit. Thurmst was also restrained by the Mud Breath from another Mephit. Zendarya cast Thunderwave damaging several of the mephits. Ellywick Tumblestrum finished off one of the mephits and the rest retreated.
  When they arrived at they were treated by 4 awakened trees. They were excited when they found out the party was there to meet with Jingle Jangle. She had been mugged by the Harengon’s three days prior and was very upset.
  They found Jingle Jangle in her home at the top of the hill. After promising to avenge her with the Harengon brigands and Agdon Longscarf, she gave them the key to release Sir Talavar. He followed through on his promise and gave the group his +1 sword, that Ellywick claimed to use as a dagger. Jingle Jangle also suggested they seek out Clapperclaw Scarecrow as a guide to get them to Thither
  When leaving one of the Awakened Trees gave the group an old iron key. This may come in handy later. The group then moved in the direction of the Brigand’s Tollway on their way to see Bavlorna Blightstraw
