Session I: you’re in a tavern Report

In Daggerford , our adventurers meet in a pub, the Silver Flood Inn. While talking amongst themselves a fairy dragon flies into the pub and tells the adventurers they have been summoned to the home of the warlock Madryck Roslof .   Madryck wants the characters to investigate why he has lost contact with his patron, Zyblina of Prismeer . He has not been able to reach her for some time and fears she may be in trouble. The best course for the adventurers would be to go to the Witchlight Carnival because there is a way into Prismeer from there. During the conversation the characters all find that they have each lost something at the Witchlight carnival when they were children. Madryck tells them that there may be benefit if they can find these items in their travels.   They travel a few days to the carnival along the trade routes. Tickets are awaiting them at the ticket booth when they arrive. They immediately go to lost and found to see what they can learn. Lost and found is staffed by a displacer beast named Dirlagraun. He is watching two young boys, Viro and Allowin, whose mother went to get them food. The older boy, Viro, suddenly grabs a mirrored ball from the lost and found. The displacer beast grabs the ball in anger with one of its tentacles and the boy run off into the carnival. Dirlagraun asks the adventurers to find the boy, and return him to the lost and found.   The group runs off to find the boy. Shiro None  finds Viro at a nearby candy stall. He lifts up the boy over his shoulder to return him to lost and found. Viro yells that he is being kidnapped and several hands come to assist. Shiro prepares to fight the carnival hands but the conflict is quickly defused by the quick thinking of Lemli.   Upon returning the orb to Dirlagraun, the characters learn that the mirrored ball was the toy of his cub Star who vanished many years ago.
