The Cult of the Forgotten eventually grow tired of negotiating with Gabriel. They appear in force around Castle Storm and attempt to bargain with him, to try to defeat him or force him to do nothing about the approach of their gods. Thinking of his young wife, and with the influence of Eternity, Gabriel refuses, and the battle is joined.   The Forgotten cults lay siege to the castle, using a hidden ritual they had prepared to bind it to the ground, unable to fly away. Gabriel's forces fight against the cultist and their horrors, but the ritual sites are specifically warded against him and his vampire troops. The battle drags on as he is forced to try to counter their eldritch wards... until Iedos slips through the enemy's back lines and disrupts the focus of the main ritual, dropping the wards and allowing Gabriel and his forces to drive off the mad cult and their abominations.
