Tyrsan Dekseen

Tyrsan Dekseen is often seen in the company of Irvlor and Keldan Avdaris, successful and wealthy Thormenalan merchants who hail from Orvlaan.
The exact nature of Tyrsan’s work for the merchant brothers is uncertain, though many have guessed that he acts as a bodyguard to the pair. The jovial brothers do not seem to need any such thing, being universally loved by those that meet them in the streets of Orvlaan or wherever their business takes them. To the outside observer it is hard to imagine the pair would need protection of any kind. As such, no one has ever seen Tyrsan act as anything but friend and compatriot to the pair. They are rarely seen apart.   Tyrsan flaunts his Urdaggar heritage. Though at first glance his fair skin and dark hair could pass as any other Faeler he refuses to, wearing the garb of his native Urdaggar tribesman and sporting the tatoos of the Owl tribe that he was taken from as a small child.   Tyrsan wears a traditionallong knife at his waist which gives rise to the rumors of his work as protector to the brothers. As of yet none have ever seen Tyrsan draw his blade, which lies in a sheath with owl tribe motifs dyed into it.   Tyrsan is garrulous, always talking to those around him. He seems to not know a stranger, and is more than happy to give his opinion on anything to anyone, especially when unasked for. This has landed him in more than a few fights, and his often-punched face is well known to the City Watch in the dock district.   Fighting isn’t the only thing that the City Watch know Tyrsan for, however. There have been accusations of thievery made against him, though none have ever been proven or substantiated in any way. Items do have a tendency to go missing around him, though. More than one person has bent Irvlor and Keldans’ ears to warn them of Tyrsan’s proclivity for theft. These accusations don’t seem to trouble Irvlor and Keldan, receiving a hearty laugh and well wishes from the merchant brothers instead.   Tyrsan is quick to remind anyone in an argument that “his people were here first.” Many Faelers give him a quizzical look when he proclaims this, as there isn't a time of recorded history before the Krai Jan Empire controlled the lands of Thormenal. Tyrsan is insistent upon his claims though, and will make them to anyone, from a Faeler who makes a condescending remark about his tattoos to the Chaler merchants who are even more insistent that this area belongs to their people.   Tyrsan is well known to react to all moods with off-the-wall humor, wild claims about his prowess in battle, and finally his heritage. Many times his unhinged demeanor defuses the situation and allows it to pass without violence. Just as many times, however, it ends in fisticuffs and shenanigans.
