The Kingdom of Rofenmoor

Rofenmoor history claims it was founded by the mythical warrior king Eghan the Fae-touched. Ancient legend says he was the son of a faerie lord and a human woman, superior to all mortal men; he could defeat a hundred men with his sword, hit a fly at three hundred paces with a bow, and dodge a raindrop. Much of those legends are discredited nowadays, even considered a shame by some, given the general distrust of all magic. This has greatly weakened the authority of the royal family, whose claim to the throne rested partially on them. Still, a few places on the countryside still quietly leave offerings at the faerie mounds, and even now Rofenmoor is a more hospitable place to spellcasters than most.
