The sergeant rallies his troops with a war cry, allowing all allies within 30ft to move up to 15ft without triggering attacks of opportunity.
Orlane:
There is also a garrison of soldiers patrolling around the town. They will keep on eye on newcomers, but assume the border patrols vetted them, therefore leaving them alone unless they cause problems. They do not restrict movement around the town. Mayor Ormond: Visiting the Mayor is the safest course of action for the players. He ushers them in quickly, looking around for anyone watching. He will be ecstatic that you have returned with the Orb, but he is also concerned. While he loves his homeland and respects the Baron of Kaan, he doesn't align with their view of other types of people.- The arrival of a battalion of troops is dis concerning. Something has happened, but he doesn't know what.
- Council sent a cleric for the temple. Cleric Klavon is an older, experienced Cleric and he isn't happy about the situation.
- Due to the arrival of the army, Ormond asked Rowan to escort the two Elves out of Kaan. If she returns, it won't be for several more days.
- He is eternally grateful that you have returned with the orb. He explains it may be best for everyone if he takes it to the temple... less questions for the party.

- It would be unwise to for non-Kaananites to open a new business in Orlane at the moment. There seems to be a lot of scrutiny going on.
- Traveling south? There is a ranching village nestled in a mountain range that has been a good trading partner for many centuries. We provide produce and they provide livestock, some of the best wool in the realm comes from there. When we started to rebuild I remembered it had been sometime since we heard from them so I sent a messenger, but he returned. The direct mountain pass was blocked and it can be dangerous to go around the mountain range. If you are heading that way, maybe you can check in on the Village of Haven?
- He speaks about the weakness of the other baronies and their reliance on lesser beings.

- He believes the whole town should be investigated on the suspicion of heresy, but the Council cares more about stabilizing the region at the moment. There will be time for that later.
