Marcuire
Marcuire is a thick, viscous paint that is an eggshell white in the light of day, but in darkness it glows with a sickly viridian radiance. It is said that Marcuire was once bright enough to illuminate its surroundings even in the harsh light of noon, but now it has decayed to pale dimness.
Fresh containers of Marcuire paint are increasingly difficult to come by as the secrets to its creation have been lost to the long centuries, and are therefore highly valuable. Such containers can often be identified by being searingly hot to the touch, and by bulging from a dangerous build up of internal pressure. Containers gave been known to violently explode, spraying hot, thick paint across every surface in their surroundings.
