A Feast of Color

A Feast of color it is a book about the culinary arts that developed in Lartasia. The book was written by Dimitris Ivyhollow , who many refer to as The Ivyhollow Legacy.     The book was written approximately five years before his death and collected many traditions, facts, historical information, and recipes that are unique to Lartasia. The book is rarely found in almost any nation as it did not get widely printed like most of his previous works. Despite this, it is widely regarded as the most accurate and thorough account of the culinary arts in Lartasia.

Reception

Lartasian Cuisine is a popular subject among chefs in other nations. Sadly most of the ingredients can only be found and lands that have succumbed to Universal Mania, one of the many Universal Maladies that plague the world. Mania can only be found in Lartasia and therefore, the ingredients are nearly impossible to obtain outside of its borders.   Many have taken the dangerous Journey to the nation just to get a chance at trying its food. The nation offers many things impossible to experience elsewhere. Overall the reception of the book simply increased the mystique and exotic nature of Lartasian, as very few have actually been there.

A Nation of Strange Taste

The name of the book refers to the rather strange-looking dishes that are common in Lartasia. The nation is well known for its bizarre flavors and textures but most of all the color of its food. There are fish in the nation that turn purple when cooked, and some that taste of lemons. The nation is also known for it's high tolerance of risk, as almost every dish unique to their culture must be cooked perfectly. If it is not properly cooked, prepared, and served, eating it could kill you.
