Grung
The Grung, sometimes called Bullywug or Frogfolk, are a species of amphibian-like people that originate from the Feywild, resembling that of frogs and toads.
Grung can primarily be found within the Feywild, but some have been found living in tribal groups within remote jungles and swamps across Exorisa, primarily the jungles of Soliemia, or the islands of the Kuai Archipelago.
Grung are known to live in tight knit communities, and are known to be peaceful and friendly, making them easy prey to predators. This has led to Grung hiding away from the world, rarely interacting with outsiders. Some of the Exorsian tribes have even been recorded as being incredibly hostile. Because of these factors not much more is known about the species.
Appearance:
Grung resemble small bipedal frogs or toads, with slimy multicoloured skin, large eyes and mouths, and webbed hands and feet.
Skin: Grung tend to have greenish or brown coloured skin, but some have been encountered with multicoloured skin, resembling that of poison dart frogs. Their skin also tends to be covered in coloured spots.
Eyes: Grung tend to have large yellow, orange or black coloured eyes.
Maturity:
Outside of the Feywild Grung can live for around 30 Years on average. Grung mature faster than Humans, reaching adulthood around the age of 2.
After hatching they begin their lives as tadpoles, and it takes around 1 Year before they grow up and begin to resemble juvenile Grung.
Reproduction:
Grung hatch from eggs. A Grung can produce a clutch of around 5 eggs annually, which are placed within a small pool of water and cared for by the whole tribe. These eggs are nurtured for around 3-4 months before they hatch into tadpoles.
