PDA

PDA's, or Personal Data Assistants, are small handheld computers functionally identical to modern-day cell phones and are used to access the world-wide-web and keep track of important information in Exile13. Most PDA's are equipped with an electronic display, limited wireless communication abilities, and at least one IO port for extending their functionality with the use of aftermarket mods.   Almost every corporation manufactures their own version of the PDA, but the most popular model is produced by Nanotrasen Corp. Due to its popularity, most aftermarket kits target this model exclusively.   The Nanotrasen PDA is equipped with a lightweight direct messaging system, an antenna, a pen, a durable rugged exterior, a touch-screen electronic display, a digitized wallet for carrying up to two identification cards, an LED flashlight, a 3.5" floppy disc drive, an E-43 IO Port for aftermarket mod functionality, and a robust security protocol.
