History
Cochocton was once in its history, the power of the Northern The Continent of Mydridlands , controlling the narrow passage to the Eastern Karnak Sea . Its power began to fade after the last Emperor died in 14788. The ancient brotherhood now holds power, trying to stabilise the old union.
The five provinces (The Kavan States, Eastern Kavan, Highland Kavan, Rillvarkia and The Isle of Heptanomis), work fairly separately now, with only tradition keeping any federation alive. Cochocton is an interesting mix of old and new; they both exist side by side in many industries.

Demography and Population
The Kavan States is the cradle of Cochocton society. The state is made up of numerous geographical groups, all with individual cultures and customs. They unite in war and trade.
Highland Cavan are one people. The country is easily accessible compared to the Lower Cavan, hence the unification of the people into one race.
The people of Eastern Cavan are the great farmers of the empire. Agriculture has always been the focus of farming leaders, with 82% of all food being produced in this sector. It is not just the fact that they have a lot of land; the farmers themselves are twice as productive with the land as are their counterparts.
The people of the Isle of Heptanomis are masters of the sea. It was this clan who provided the knowledge and skill to control the narrow passage to the Eastern Karnak Sea . They also developed the skill of reef farming, and their mystical potions made up of reef products are sold throughout the whole area.
The people of Rillvarkia live in the South of the country and are a totally separate race from that of the North. They have, however, never asserted their political independence, for the society seems to work well being part of the greater nation.

Agriculture & Industry
The Giant Nules live on the eastern seaboard of Cochocton. They are the largest living creature in the world. They can grow to such a length that they could cover half the distance of the walled city of Mubazi's Shrine. Approximately 300 are left alive in the wild.
It is considered very unlucky to kill this beautiful animal, and so they are protected by tradition and managed by the state as a national treasure.
