Captain Myrrakel T’zynn is the unflinching blade and strategic mind behind Port Arlith’s security and order. Born in Rosohna to a lesser drow lineage of the T’zynn matron-house, a family long devoted to the Kryn Dynasty’s martial traditions, Myrrakel was marked for military excellence early on. While most young drow of her station trained in Dunamancy or followed the Lightseeker path, she chose a rarer route: to become an Echo Knight, binding her soul not to her past alone, but to the echoes of what she could become across many lifetimes.

She was stationed at Port Arlith a decade ago as a punishment and test of loyalty following a scandalous duel in Rosohna—where she openly defied a superior officer and won. While others might have considered this remote volcanic outpost exile, Myrrakel saw its significance immediately. Arlith's Crown is more than just a trade checkpoint; it is a mirror held to the soul of Wildemount, where diplomacy and Dunamancy crash like waves against each other. Here, her disciplined mind and unmatched tactical prowess became the invisible spine of the outpost. She quickly rose through the ranks, eventually taking command of the Umbral Barracks and becoming its Captain - and, quietly, its moral compass.

Though she answers directly to Rosohna’s Consulate of Eternal Accord, Myrrakel runs the garrison as an autonomous command. Her loyalty is unquestioned, but she is not blind to politics. She walks a tightrope between diplomacy and defense, balancing threats from Concordian spies, mercantile sabotage, and even internal dissent from younger, zealous Lightseekers who view her as too pragmatic and not devout enough. Myrrakel has never been reincarnated and is living her first life, which is something that lends her both respect and suspicion among the deeply spiritual followers of the Luxon. She believes in the light, but also believes that her life - this life - must matter before the next one begins.
