A rainy day

As the party awoke, the rain came pooring from the sky which made them stay in the inn for the first hour of the morning. Have a small drinking competition, Old Jones came in to remind Ford they had a job to do in the sewers. When Ford asked for further compensation, Jones agreed he might be able to get some magic artifacts for them in the form of potions and a pair of boots.   The party then left to go investigate the warehouse mentioned in an encrypted message they found the day before. Reaching the warehouse, they scouted the house, unlocked the door, and went inside.   Inside the house they cased down the two individuals they could find, wounding them both and interrogating the manager, Neothan Longshoe. They also discovered a half-elf in a cage, who claimed he was from Wildemount but kidnapped and imprisoned for three weeks in his cage.   As they started asking questions with Zone of Truth activated, Neothan suddenly took an arrow to the chest, fired by Morrow Barkmore.
