Winsome Landy
Professor Winsome Landy
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Professor Winsome is a petite woman, even by halfling standards. With her time focused on research and academics, she was not a very quick nor strong individual. She wears wide circle glasses and often has an accessory in her hair, whether it be a bow or lace. When Invictus FISH was with her, she often had an air of nervous energy and was a bit clumsy. The professor often wore dresses and skirts brought over from the Empire, which often cause a bit of trouble in the heat of the Menagerie Coast.

Personal history
Professor Winsome Landy was fascinated with history since a young age. From conversations Invictus FISH has had with her, it seems that she studied at some of the educational institutions in Zadash, and continued for some time to acquire her certifications. Much of her initial work was research for academic schools and universities. She finally had an opportunity for adventure when she joined a team that was heading to the Menagerie Coast. The group had been supported by the Cobalt Soul in search for ruins and items of historical import within the regions of Port Damali.
Despite the far travel, the professor ended up spending much of her time researching from within the city walls. While her team conducted the on-site excavation and investigation, Winsome would research the notes and items sent back to her. Still, the job was a mostly enjoyable one from her account. That was until her team missed one of their check-ins with her, which worried Winsome. She contacted the Port Damali Archives and was provided the services of Invictus FISH to escort her to the dig site, in case of danger. While nervous, the professor did her best to speak with the mercenaries and share as much important information as she could. Unfortunately, this task turned bloody when it was discovered that the Havel's Cross Inn had been slaughtered and so had the research team at the dig site. The professor was shocked by the death's of her colleagues and the transformation her team leader, Calador, had gone through due to the mysterious bone like item uncovered. Following these events, Winsome swore to dedicate her time and research towards ancient evils and dangers, to ensure that such events do not transpire again. Before departing for the Empire, the professor passed along a sending stone to Invictus FISH for contact. It was also mentioned that the professor has ties to the League of Explorers, a network of archeologists, researchers, and academics interested in uncovering the secrets and history of their world.
Since then, the professor has been continuing her efforts within the Empire, mainly focused within the major cities of Rexxentrum or Zadash. She was contacted by Invictus FISH regarding researching the Witch-King but was unable to provide her research before the party reached their destination. Still, much of her research confirmed and elaborated upon the tale of the ancient archmage. Recently, she has been contacted by Invictus FISH to look into two individuals from the Calamity, Jourrael and Zerxus.
Professor Landy recently met with Invictus FISH during their time in Rexxentrum, updating them on her recent ventures. Winsome found work in Rexxentrum thanks to a colleague from the Scholar's Academy and is currently helping investigate some artifacts under the collection of a mage. Her work on this does appear to be a bit under wraps and not meant to be shared with others. Winsome has been staying in the Tangles district of the city, but working out of the Soltryce Academy in the Shimmer Ward. She was able to share some of the lore she has discovered regarding Jourreal and Zerxus with the party. When Invictus FISH revealed the Will of the Talon, Winsome was astonished and frightened by the artifact.
