Personal history
Matle is an alchemist who works out of the Mosaic Ward. They use their skills and medicines to treat patients within the Mudtop District, especially those who can't afford proper treatment. Due to the poor conditions and cheap materials, Matle is only successful sometimes in healing the sick, but for the people of the Mudtop he is still seen as a savior.
In truth, Matle is a member of the Myriad and a callous individual. He wishes to refine his various alchemical recipes and products, so he tests many of his draft products upon the poor. Unbeknownst to many citizens, Matle's products often leave gruesome side effects or pain, but these aren't discovered due to his machinations and the overall lack of care towards those in the Mudtop. In turn, he uses his findings to help with the crafts he sells in his business. Many of his more prominent creations are sold through the black market. This allows him to keep up appearances that his store belongs to a simple alchemist of meager talent and materials. His true services are known to those with significant connections or capability within the criminal underbelly of Rexxentrum.
