Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Idalia was an older woman, with the age showing in the wrinkles of her skin. Nonetheless, she displayed an impressive physical fitness for her health when he arrived in her armor to help save the party from Bavan and Taaruberaax. She often wore long flowing robes of silver and black, colors not normally associated with the Everlight. She had many crimson beads tied into the twin braids of her silver hair and wore a silver brooch in the shape of an eagle. She held an amulet and a staff with a silver phoenix as the main conduits for her divine magic.

Special abilities

Idalia was a highly skilled and knowledge priestess of the Everlight, full of experience and wisdom. Alongside her guidance and teachings, she wielded powerful divine magics for the purpose of doing good. She was able to repair many great wounds, even regenerating the lost arm of Eldan. She is capable of even bringing back those that have fallen, such as the ritual of revival she conducted for Morthos Varondel and the fallen bodyguards of Marquis Vasan Atrith. During her rescue attempt, she arrived with several celestials she had summoned through divine rituals and spells. She wielded several arcane items to help heal and protect the party, though several were lost during the fight.

Personal history

Idalia has been a priestess for Sarenrae for quite a few years. From what she has spoke, Idalia may have begun worshipping the Everlight a little later in life compared to most clergy. In the past, she has traveled across Wildemount spreading the teachings of the Everlight and healing those in need. She had been traveling in the Empire when she drew the attention of Athesias Uludan. After hearing his proposal for the tournament, Idalia accepted his request as she was also looking to continue her travels in other cities.   Prior to the tournament, Idalia traveled through several cities of the Clovis Concord, including Feolinn and Port Zoon. She arrived in time for the tournament to begin and acted as the head of healing services offered during the event. While there were several sets of clerics and doctors who tended to the injuries of the mercenaries, Idalia remained ready for any serious issues. Early in the tournament, she was consulted by Eldan on the topic of her faith. Her responses seemed to suggest she took a more independent approach to her worship, forming her our tenants and principles that coincided with the Everlight's, rather than solely taking from the words of the goddess.    Her skills were called upon when Morthos Varondel perished during one of the tournament events, but she was able to successfully revive him. Following the attempted assassination on the Marquis Vasan Atrith, Idalia helped to heal and conduct rituals of revival on the fallen mercenaries and bodyguards. However, not all were able to return to life, despite Idalia's best efforts. Invictus FISH later approached Idalia with several questions, to which she provided her personal viewpoints and answers. For Hope, she emphasized the value of forgiveness and that the strength of one's arm and weapons is not true strength. She believes that true strength requires no weapons and ends battles before they are begun. Considering her answers and approach, Idalia is an individual who preferred to allow people to come to their own conclusions and beliefs. rather than forcing hers onto them.    When the party found themselves in deep trouble in the Witch-King's vault, it was Idalia that came to their rescue. It seems that their call for help was passed along as a vision to Idalia, who arrived with several celestials to hold back Bavan and Taaruberaax, to give the party a chance to escape. She did not seem overly worried about the arcane items she lost during the rescue and was thankful for the recompense the party provided. She provided divine magic to restore Eldan's arm and asked that the party try and keep in mind the tenants of the Everlight. Idalia stressed the importance of caring and forgiveness, as there are more ways to resolve a conflict than death and battle.
