Empyrean

Empyrean is a broad shouldered, but slender individual. He is handsome and is sometimes described to have an intensity due to his fiery features. His hair especially stands out as it appears to be flames given form, a trait thanks to his heritage as a fire genasi. Most times, Empyrean is found wearing fine leather robes and shirts, willing to spend on his appearance.

Empyrean is a mage, especially talented in the schools of Transmutation and Evocation magic. Rather than using this magic directly, Empyrean found his calling in using his arcane talents to craft and enchant magical items. Over the years, Empyrean has honed his skills especially in the fields of arcane weapon and armors. With his rising status, Empyrean hopes to gain even more opportunities to hone and grow his skills.

Empyrean is believed to have studied as a mage since a young age, eventually focusing that arcane interest into crafting items. He eventually made a name for himself in the city of Port Damali, amongst the wealthier clients looking for effective weapons, armors, and related items. Mercenaries int ehc ity, with coin, often went to Empyrean for their purchases. Empyrean has stated in the past that he works for his own passion and drive for growth, and not necessarily for the associated coin.   Invictus FISH first met with Empyrean after they had slain the mutated Chimera near Port Damali. Empyrean revealed himself as a mage willing to pay directly to receive the portions of the Chimera. Invictus FISH agreed to sell him some of the parts of the Chimera, while Empyrean requested they let him know if any other items come up in their travels. Eventually, the group met with Empyrean again when they were looking for further improvements or additions to their arsenal. This included the crafting of the blade forged form Rathalos parts, know as the Blade of the Red King. He also was consulted by Arista regarding her new unique blade and what it may entail. Later, he even helped Arista with the transformation of her blade into Astroite, a celestial based weapon.    Empyrean reached out to Invictus FISH, following their return from sea, to inquire about their willingness to participate in the Heroes of the Coast tournament. Empyrean promised to be their sponsor, in exchange for a small portion of their winnings. In addition, he requested that the party help him advertise his products and capabilities. Prior to their departure for the tournament, Arista requested several items for make that were put under her tab, showing a willingness from Empyrean to loan out items early, if the source of payment was considered reliable in his eyes. This included Boots of Speed initially, along with a set of arcane glasses to block sunlight later during the tournament.   Empyrean was able to successfully garner attention to his crafting skills thanks to the party's performance at the tournament. He made several deals and contracts following the event's completion, causing his fame to rise. Last the party checked, he was either in Port Damali or Nicodranas, working to fulfill his new orders.
