Azariah Keycaryn

Azariah is a lean, athletic monk who has spent a lifetime honing her physical capabilities. As for her features, she has faint brown freckles dotted across her sun tanned face. There are also a set of reddish brown tattoos that weave their way across her forehead and chin, in simple but elegant patterns. Azariah often has her blue gray Curator robes draped over her person, favoring simple garments and leathers underneath. When training, Azariah often carries a variety of weapons by her side and wears simple wraps.

Azariah has a reputation has an accomplished warrior, having served on many dangerous missions as an expositor. Even in her current position as High Curator, she still takes time out of her schedule to maintain her training and help teach some of the monks as well. Through her spars with Anora, Azariah has displayed incredible reaction times and movement. She was able to throw out numerous blows in seconds, all while infusing each with ki to bypass most external barriers. In her room and in training, Azariah has often had many weapons by her side. From the stories shared by other monks, this weapons are not just for display either. Azariah has often wielded these weapons, melee and ranged, to great effect in her training exercises.

Azariah began her time with the Cobalt Soul when she was a young woman, a little more than a century ago. She started as an apprentice monk, focusing on research and mundane duties. Soon after her training completed, Azariah began to demonstrate her talent and dedication as a monk. She leveraged her experience in research to inform her abilities as an investigator and tracker. When sent out into the field, Azariah quickly honed her combat skills and had an appetite for growing through hands on experience. It was only natural to then move onto her position as an expositor of the Cobalt Soul. Much of her operations were kept private, as many expositors do even within the Cobalt Soul. However, it is known that Azariah only continued to collect her accolades within this role as well. After several decades completing missions across the coast, Azariah was eventually offered the position of High Curator of the Port Damali Archives. Having far outgrown her role, Azariah accepted the new position and began to lead the Cobalt Soul against the many dangers present in the Menagerie Coast. As she has mentioned before to Invictus FISH, her priorities include investigating the Revelry, Myriad, and the war to the east. Compared to her prior years on the field with her fists and weapons, Azariah finds herself surrounded by documents and bureaucracy in her current role.    Azariah has been a major point of contact so far for Anora within the Cobalt Soul. She was interested in bringing Anora's skills to use here in the Menagerie Coast, as the Archive had become swamped with work. As a gift for Anora's early achievements, Azariah passed along a Tourmaline Ring of Resistance, which provided limited protection against cold elements. While Invictus FISH was within the city of Port Damali, Azariah even engaged in training sessions with Anora. From what was observed, the High Curator enjoyed these opportunities to practice and train her skills against the various monks of her archive. Azariah was also informed of the party's encounter with the Heralds of the New Dawn following their return to the city. Seeing the importance of the incident, she decided to raise Anora's status to expositor and try to assign resources to assist in the investigation. During the following period and after, Azariah often was moving between the different archives, helping take over work from the Imperial Archives as the war began to stretch resources thin. With the party's participation in the Heroes of the Coast tournament, Azariah represented the Cobalt Soul in providing support for Invictus FISH's bid to join the tournament as one of the set teams.
