Loving Oak Cemetery, Old Towne

They focused on the calm stillness around them, the peaceful quiet you could only find in a place where only the dead lay. The gentle whistling of the wind and rustling of plant in the breeze consumed their thoughts. How nice is it, to be in such a place where you are left mostly alone? they think to themselves. To be away from the normal din people cause. They adopted a form that was much like someone they witnessed visiting this particular bench, a memorial bench that marked the grave of someone that woman knew, the woman they now have taken the shape of, sitting quietly amongst the many headstone markers that neighbored the bench they sat at.[True Mimic, Minor x1, -1EP (14/15)]
Calmly sitting on the bench, they hum softly to themselves, testing the voice on this form. It sucked. This woman's singing voice sounds so underdeveloped. Or maybe it's just me, fucking up yet another thing. They frown with discontentment, and decide to produce the sound of James LaBrie's voice to sing the melody trapped in their mind. "If I died tomorrow,I'll be all right because I believe
That after we're gone,
The spirit carries on."

Aloysius ‘Aloy’ FumiBOT
It had been a stressful few weeks for the young Aloysius Yumi. In this span of time he'd watch as his body changed with his powers, He'd crashed into numerous buildings, Been shot, been shot at, Became aqauintances with THE Victory, Watched people die......Killed some poor idiots that joined a gang, Broke his ripcage, healed it.....and he had accidentally dodged some of his summer classes. Either way, the black old corvette pulled up across the street with it's usual barely consistent hum of the strained engine. "Gotta fix that but it can wait." CLICK CLICK The dread of this cold necropolis set in at the approach of a new face Clyde could instantly tell who it was from the stature before Aloy kneeled and put a pair of bright bouquets to decorate two finely kept yet dull graves, looking up Aloysius read his own name, well the first half at least. "Hey gramps, Y'know I never met you, but uh dad used to tell me how great you were. How you were nothing but his hero who always saved the day, did the right thing. Didn't matter that you weren't an evo. Musta been a suprise about dad right? or was nan one?" There was a sorrowful tone in his voice that reminded anyone nearby of a hiss of a kettle slowly building and building and building. "Whatever, he really fucked up naming his kid after you huh? Then running away and leaving me all alone. Y'know I was gonna ask you what you would do." The kettle was getting closer to boiling the hiss getting louder until it finally bubbled over, no expression on aloy's face. The teen was as blunt and stone faced as the countless tombs and gravestones around him, however he felt his cheeks get wet then that wet feeling slowly crawl down just past his lips and down off his chin. "But I just realised that'd make me a fucking idiot talking to a fucking dead idiot, hell I bet you weren't even that good, after all your own son ran away and left me to fucking raise meself. If you see my father in hell tell him I said Fuck you."C឵lyde Adams
The relative calm is interrupted by the hum of a black car, pulling up to a spot that was a little ways away. Though, it seemed familiar.. and then they saw the shape of their school friend carrying two bouquets to a pair of graves. Hehehe, time to spook 'im. they thought as they stood up from the memorial bench, and started to casually walk in what Clyde thought was an inderect route towards their friend. Then they heard the final words from the lips of an an angry Aloy among the relative quiet of the cemetery. Maybe less of a spook, then. They focus on throwing their natural voice to the space behind Aloy, saying "I hope they deserved it if that's where they're staying for eternity." Staying a fair distance away, they shift their form to almost their own, keeping some more feminine features to match their outfit, a black skirt and a low-cut, multicolored button-down shirt with a white tank top underneath.[Sound Generation, Minor x1, -1EP (14/15)]

Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
Aloy didn't respond right away he fixed where the flowers were, and watered them with a crumpled up bottle he had in his pocket before wiping his tears away and turning around awkwardly staring at them for a second... "Do I uh kno- Oh Clyde. Hey uh well they raised a deadbeat, so they musta been some pretty crappy parents. but it's whatever, just venting some anger.....so uh how long were you here?"C឵lyde Adams
"Just the last bit about talking to dead idiots.. I guess that makes another thing we have in common, eh? Never knew my real dad, so I guess even before I was born people hated me.." Their expression was pretty blank as they shrug, opting to feel numb rather than feeling the sting of their own words. "Maybe your father deserves hell. Dunno, not my place to judge."Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
“I don’t know why I just decided to talk to them but, I dunno. Well I don’t hate you, which isn’t easy since I tend to dislike most people, you’re not a complete dickhead if that helps soothe your sorrows.” Aloy chuckled a bit and stood up looking to the grave next to the one sharing a first name. “But uh from what I heard grandma was really sweet, was glad my dad found my ma but eh. I don’t even know if he’s fucking dead or just ran away, or in a cell. Hell he’s the reason I live alone. Stupid fucking caretakers right?”C឵lyde Adams
"Catharsis, maybe? Sometimes it's good to get things off your chest, and the dead make for good listeners." They snort in disbelief that someone can tolerate them. "Eh, who knows, maybe it just takes a certain breed to tolerate me." They nod in agreement, a small smirk appearing on their face. "Yeah, fucking caretakers. Hell, Neera's gonna peace out back to her boy toy in Wales as soon as I can support myself here." They wince, their own words cutting deeper than they expected. "Pretty fuckin' shitty of 'em." Their eyes follow Aloy's to the grave, and they notice the similar name. "So.. uh.. Named after your grandpa, huh?"Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
“Well I wouldn’t say that, hell old Tobias would be glad I haven’t pushed ya away yet the old wizard.” Aloy joined in with a chuckle looking to the smirk with a smile. “Yeah it’s pretty shitty of her, hey if you ever need a place you know my address and got my number, I can’t promise I’m a good cook since I only eat instant ramen but it’s a place y’know? I won’t even charge ya rent.” With a sigh he nodded and kept looking at the grave. “Well, yeah, Poor Isaiah decided I’d be a good tribute to his oh so perfect father. Though as you can tell that ain’t my last name. We were weird and took from my mother’s side.”C឵lyde Adams
They looked a bit puzzled, and ask "Tobias? Who's that?" Whoever it is, they sound like a goody-two-shoes. Bleh. They smile in response to Aloy's offer, and add teasingly "I can also go out and get a metric shit tonne of fast food and microwave meals for us. Hell, I don't even have to go as myself." "Huh.. a little weird, but nothing wrong with that. As long as you're fine with it, I guess."Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
“Oh he runs the orphanage in Henry, I uh y’know volunteer there when I can. He’s a nice dude bit weird but I trust him plenty well. Been there for me since I started helping.” Yeah even enough to let him and those kids stay at my place while I went and got my fucking rib broken. I’m glad they’re all okay. God look at me complaining I’ve been through worse I’ve been shot! Oh and unluckily Aloy was going to be shot again later that night. “Heh, true, I’ve got the money and shit. Always an option though. Just wanted to let ya know. And yeah it’s a bit weird but I don’t have an opinion on it. Kimiko can stay in her fucking apartment being a fucking nutcase. You’ll find out eventually so I’ll tell you now she’s a very successful anti-evo lawyer but I haven’t seen here since I was like 15 and that was a parent teacher conference.”C឵lyde Adams
They nod, taking a mental note of who this.. Tobias(?) is. Orphanage in Henry. Isn't that the shifty part of town? The hell is he doing, running an orphanage there? They cringe when they hear that 'Kimiko' is a nutcase anti-evo lawyer. "Daaamn.. so your mom is opposed to freaks like me, huh? Guess I'll have to keep quiet about what I can do, if she ever graces us with her presence."Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
“she won’t, and if she does I’ll let her know that she isn’t welcome in my life anymore, hasn’t been for a while just Cus she came to parent teacher conferences didn’t mean she was home y’know?” Aloy took a deep breath of fresh air before a deep sigh released from his lungs. “But yeah if you ever need a place to hide out and crash let me know.”C឵lyde Adams
"I'll keep that in mind, and if you need the same I'm not afraid to 'beg forgiveness', because I'm sure as shit not gonna ask permission from Neera." They give a small sigh before adding, "Just don't expect me to volunteer, too. Not exactly that charitable."Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
“It’s easier to ask for forgiveness after then ask for permission before. Fair mentality, but don’t worry I’ve only got a few rules; try to clean up your mess, leave my room alone, no smoking inside and if I’ve got a partner over knock first…..but I’m uh sadly single, I mean guess I’m just too intimidating with how beautiful and handsome I am.” Aloy dramatically flicked his hair as the sarcastic comment left his mouth. It was weird to see someone how could be a teen model joking about how attractive they are.C឵lyde Adams
They roll their eyes, sarcastically and dramatically saying, "Oh, you're so right! You're sooo amazingly good-looking, I'm getting weak at the knees!" before mocking a swoon. What they didn't account for was the heels they wore, and actually fell down. "Fuckin' shitty ass sons of a whoring bitch!" They curse as they laugh at their own bad luck and lack of coordination, trying to get back up to their feet. "Just my fuckin' luck."Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
At first Aloy started laughing not thinking that the falling was genuine until they started trying to get on their feet Aloy decided for once to try and ignore that he didn’t like physical contact and offer a hand up. “Watch when summer ends that’a what all the ladies will be saying about me. oh he’s so haaaannnnnndddddsssssoooooome.” He chuckled out as he helped Clyde to their feet if they accepted the help. “It was the heels right? God I don’t know how people walk in those. Or like how those drag queens can wear the really big ones.”C឵lyde Adams
They take his hand, unaware that Aloy had a thing about touching, and quickly rise back to their feet. As they snicker at the overly dramatacized response, they brush themselves off and readjust their clothes. "Makes me curious, though. Did you, like, smack your face and suddenly looked better? Or just one day you woke up and looked completely different?" "Yeah, they're a bitch to walk around in, but practice makes perfect. Kinda." They continue to laugh at their own stupid fall, and the stupid remarks about Aloy's looks, and eventually stops with a sigh.Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
Clyde got pulled up effortlessly and actually had a few seconds of air time as Aloy helped them up very quickly in one smooth quick motion. “I mean my face always looked a bit like this but I then had a growth spurt and fasted and worked out and it just happened.” Aloy shrugged and once bey were up and stable his hand was back by his side rather quickly. “I mean makes sense, they look like a pain to fucking walk in, god I feel bad for people that gotta wear that everyday.” Aloy joined in on the laughing before he looked to his car with a sigh. The physical exhaustion of the past week or so is clearly beginning to hit Aloy hard. “I ain’t excited to go back to school, kinda wish summer wouldn’t end y’know? But it’s whatever. Maybe I’ll get to nap in class with all this studying.”C឵lyde Adams
Doesn't fasting mean you stop eating food? they wonder. Eh, whatever. "Same, would be nice if they didn't keep trying to beat math into our heads every year and actually teach real-world stuff. Like, how the hell are we gonna figure out taxes and shit if we've got crap parents?"Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
"Yeah, I'm gonna have to use the internet to teach me how to do that shit. I can barely do maths let alone that stupid crazy shit I'm sure I'll figure it out. I did meet an accountant..."C឵lyde Adams
They whistle, adding "Well, well, well. Aren't you quite the social butterfly, eh? Well, maybe they can teach us a thing or two about adulting, if they don't mind meeting up sometime."Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
"Well. More he started talking and talking and talking and wouldn't pipe down then acted all weird as if he was trying to suss me out or something. I uh didn't get their cell either. I'm sure we'll figure it out, or fight the IRS it's a fifty-fifty I'm willing to risk."C឵lyde Adams
"That might make both of us fighting them." Their smile fades to a frown and they check their phone. "Aw, shit.. I was supposed to meet Neera for lunch. Somewhere in the same neighborhood as the museum, I guess? Much as I'd love to trip over my heels some more over how haaaaannndsoooome you are."Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
"Uh yeah maybe." Aloysius smiled and shrugged. "Hey we should hang out sometime, y'know besides the cemetary and school, I can give you a lift if you want."C឵lyde Adams
"I think I can squeeze that into my busy summer schedule. And.. I'd much appreciate the lift. Sometime soon we could go anywhere you want, too." Just somewhere I don't get us stabbed with a pitchfork because I'm a freak. They wanted to add, but kept that bit silent.Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
The teen smiled and spun the keys in his hand and gestured to his car with his head. “Yeah, I’m down for whenever you are c’mon how late are you gonna be? I don’t wanna speed.C឵lyde Adams
"I've got about half an hour, I think. Shouldn't be too late if traffic is nice." They walk with Aloy to the car, as best they can with their limited experience with heels.Storyteller
With the roar of the engine coming back to life, the teen duo head out of the otherwise quiet cemetery, moving towards the Museum district while listening to a little bit of both of their music along the way.
