To Assert Dominance, If You Will
Summer 2021, Week 4
Friday evening
The Red Door, Downtown
Randall Winters
The crowd at the Red Door was in high spirits. This was to be expected on a Friday night, but all the more so tonight - at least if you asked a certain Randall Winters. The people and the drinks played a part, sure, but its centerpiece was the music. The band was good, but Randall with his guitar brought it to another level, he knew. Performing in a place as popular as this was a rare treat for him, but he'd managed to seize an opportunity when the band had ended up one member short for the night. Desperation. Somehow that always ends up being the reason why anyone bothers to hire me for something worthwhile. If only they realised what they're missing... Maybe this time will be different, maybe I can actually secure a spot here. Probably not, but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. As much as he was in the flow, his attention kept jumping all across the club as if to take note of every individual reaction to his performance. He couldn't really help it, but at least he was happy enough with what he saw; those who actually listened seemed pleased. Here he was in his element.Roslyen Van Steele
Some how she always ended up back to here. Bottle in hand, music blaring far to loud. Alone in a see of people scared to anger her. No different then when she was at one of her Daddies club. A failure surrounded by seen of admirers. It was hard to miss the pink hair giant. Towering over 90percnt of the crowd, and taller then a 100 percent of them, she would have been easy to spot and recognize even if her hair wasn't a vibrant pink flowing like water down her back. Off set was her purple dress filled with spots of black shimmer like she was a walking magma flow. She would be beautiful, rather was beautiful. Stole the spot light from anyone else around. to bad she only wanted to be left alone to her misery and bottle. Of course that didn't mean she couldn't try and enjoy herself. Several shots in and she was leaning against the soft leather of her booth some girl she wasn't quiet sure of her name curled under her massive arm singing along softly to the bad on stage vibrant smile on her lips. Can see the headlines now... But who fucking caresRandall Winters
Soon enough the song was brought to chorus which he spiced up with some improvised additions. The kind of small things most people might not pay attention to, but the ones who were paying attention would appreciate it. There had to be some, at least. Wait, haven't I seen that one person before. Didn't know celebrities showed up here. Eh, who cares. Now's not her time. In the spur of the moment, as the song was coming to a close, he decided to give the crowd an extra treat. To assert dominance, if you will. Of his own accord he performed a solo the likes of which likely weren't heard often here, certainly not unless they managed to secure a more well-established band. The other members rolled their eyes at his theatrics, to which he gave a half-apologetic grin. Okay, maybe a bit of an overkill. But I might as well make the most of this opportunity. Well, time for a break.Roslyen Van Steele
Overkill? Yeah. Totally amazing? Probably. Eye catching to the musical savant sitting in the corner practically drooling over some piece of tail, entirely. Roslyn was on her feet by the time the solo hit the third beat. It was a sweet sound that filled drunken mind with joy. She crossed the small dance floor in but four strides nocking a few people out of her way as she did, half drinking bottle of chardonnay swishing in her grip. It wasn't just a good solo. Which it was. It was a commanding presences that demand attain music that pulled one to it and forced them to listen. Opposite of her own sound which begged pole to try and pull away from it. Giggling and was leaning up against the stage as the solo finished and the bad gave thanks while they prepared for their next set. Her eyes all for the guitarist that pulled her there. "Roseeeeyy come backk" The girl that she had been hanging out with was there by the end pulling on Roselyn sleeve slightly. Winning with a heavy liqour slur.Randall Winters
Randall refreshed himself with some water as he attempted a bit of small talk with the rest of the band, to not particularly much success. Maybe he'd said or done something wrong, maybe they'd heard some less than flattering gossip about him, maybe they'd just done enough of these performances not to feel particularly energized by it. And he was just a one-time replacement, anyway. What's the commotion over there? Oh great, the tall lady. What, did we misappropriate one of her songs or something? Pretty sure we didn't perform one. Eh, maybe she's just passing by. Hopefully, I'm not here to respond to complaints. Better just ignore it.Roslyen Van Steele
Used to ignoring people Roselyn instead smiled over to the man with the guitar waving to him when she did. There was a large smile on her face that beamed with giddy joy. She truly wanted to speak to him. Or hell be allowed to play with him. Music was part of who she was and she adored anyone with a good sound. "Yes you! Come here that was amazing!" Her voice came out singsong even drunk.. Full of life and joy dripping with a girlish charm and laughter. People around them looked over to her as they realized quiet who was standing there and that she was complimenting him. Quickly turning their gaze to him. "Come on I knoooow You see me!"Randall Winters
No, of course it's about me. Can't I just attract normal attention for a change? If I close my eyes, maybe they will go away. The strategy of trying to ignore her ended up not working out so well. Recognising this, Randall soon turned toward the disturbance, giving a nod in recognition. Way to put me on the spot... Just play it cool, don't say anything dumb and they won't throw me out... probably. "All right, all right... You got a request or something?"Roslyen Van Steele
"request? Reequesstttttt hicup Nope! I just wanted to know who you are, That was absolutely enchanting! I just had to come see that sound! Play again for me will you!" Leaning back he took a long swing of her bottle finishing off the last sips with another hiccup and a giggle. As happy as she seemed her eyes spoke of pain, an misery. Not fake smile of laugh could hide it. Wrapping a arm around the girl that had been still trying to pull her away she pulled her closer basically smashing her into a hug. "Wasn't he just.. Like the best! Well not the best.. That's me! but it was sooo good! Like me but.. Different!"Randall Winters
Get a room already... Probably shouldn't say that. Seriously though, does she mean to just stand there right in front of me and expect that's not going to break my focus? Why are the famous types always so weird? "Uhh... Okay. Randall. Randall Winters. My name. Cheers." While he usually wouldn't have been so careful with his with his words, this was one of the rare times when he actually wanted to make a good impression. The owner of the place would probably come up with some way to fuck him over if he caused a scene, and would most definiteily nevet ley him play here again. He turned to the singer and gave a shrug, noticing a hint of envy on the man's face. Oh well, maybe this was an opportunity. After a quick moment of preparation they were ready to start with the next song.Roslyen Van Steele
"Play it big!" Rose said with a laugh before stepping away. Not far through staying in the front of the crowd waiting to hear just what he had instore. She was fired up now, adrenalin pumping through her system starting to clear away bits of the liquor haze. Not all of it. the constant sipping made sure of that. She wanted to see what this Winters guy could do, and now that she was making herself very publicly known most of the crowd was wanting to sees it too. Was he new prodigies, was he part of her label. Who was Winters.Randall Winters
Without further delay they got started, the entire group clearly more or less on edge due to the newfound attention on them. They were all doing their best, sure, but the others weren't exactly taking many risks. Instead they let Randall take a more prominent role, almost as if offering him up as bait for any criticism. And he certainly wasn't unaffected by the pressure, he seemed to get over it and delivered quite nicely, adding his own touches that clearly took both skill and initiative. By the end of it he was confident enough to show off some more, finishing things off with another solo. As the music faded into the usual clamor of the club, he took a moment to fully focus on taking in the reactions of the crowd. Well, that wasn't so bad... This better not just be some practical joke on her part. And even if it was, joke's on her. It's my time.Roslyen Van Steele
The crowd didn't have to go wild. The thunderous claps of a giant filled the air only to be fallowed by a stamped of sound. Cheers, claps, hoots and hallers heard all around. Roslyen stood tall and proud being the first to clap as if everyone was waiting to see what she would do and fallow her lead. She loved his music and his solo. SO the crowd did. Pressing forward she moved through the crowd like a way battering the shore. No grace all force. Drunkin giggles as she pushed people aside and moved to the edge of the stage. Only to vault her self up onto the little landing and walk right over to winters. Chugging down the last of her bottle before holding out her hand. "Rosyln Van Steele! Care to go another round? Hearing you play has be on fire!" She said with a twirl spinning in a flash of colors. Only to almost fall onto the drummer who smartly moved out of the way of the massive women before he was almost crushed. " I haveee to get a song in with you. They don't mind right?!"Randall Winters
The reception brought a self-satisfied smile to his face as he acknowledged the crowd, though he was soon distracted by the woman's approach. Is it some trick after all? Definitely a challenge of some kind. Maybe she'll ruin with the drunkenness and blame me or something. Still, can't exactly say no. "Since you asked so nicely." He responded with a shrug after getting a nod from the other members. The singer hurried to offer her the microphone, wanting to avoid any small bit of bad publicity in a situation like this. The rest seemed ready, and Randall gave another inquisitive look at Roslyen. "Your pick, I suppose."Roslyen Van Steele
"it wouldn't be any fun if we picked one of my songs... You know and theory of a Deadman?" For people who didn't know the bubblegum princess They probley would think her band choice was kind of odd, but to her friends they knew she loved all kind of of music, and possibly was a bit more of a Rockstar at heart then popstar. With a wink, she strutted over to the pick popping it off the stand rolling it between her fingers. "When ever your ready, Rockstar."Randall Winters
He took a moment to make sure he could recall the whole thing, then gave a nod and once the others were on board, settled on Angel after a quick exchange. A bit sappier than what he often did, maybe, but it wouldn't be a problem. "Sure. Just try to keep up with me." Am I on camera or something? When does this kind of stuff ever happen? And what does she want, anyway? Once everyone was ready, the signal was given and the band started. Now this would be interesting for one and all.Roslyen Van Steele
I'm in love with a angel, Heaven forbid. Roslyen voice came out melancholy and melodic. Much higher then the original singer of course. Yet it seemed to match the tone of the song perfectly, echoing off the walls of the club that had suddenly gone silent. 7ft tall was a lot of women, yet seemingly the prefect amount of siren. Drunk, sober, it didn't matter music was her soul and life. Her way to change the world. Ignoring the fact she was as some called a super hero. A failed hero sure. reaching out for the help of angels. She could never get. Seeking guidance she had to find herself. Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm weak, Maybe I'm blinded by what I see, You wanted a soldier but it wasn't me. Cause I could never set you free She sang from the bottom of her soul as the chorus hit turning over to winters with tears in her eyes as the music, and probley liquor took her.Randall Winters
As he played along, he paid close attention to her performance, both to respond to any cues when his input was especially needed and to make sure she was still in it. Surprisingly enough the alcohol didn't seem to disturb her performance too much, but it was still worth being careful in case there was a mishap of any kind. And even if not, he had to make sure not to get entirely outshined even if the crowd's attention was on her now. What's she looking at now? Don't you dare get emotional before it's over... As the song progressed - and especially as her composure seemed to get somewhat shakier - he began to take more charge of the show, to try and give her a chance to gather herself as he gave her questioning, perhaps a bit too sharp look. This was no time to drop the ball.Roslyen Van Steele
She wasn't losing her composure.. Not at all... Nah it was gone almost entirely. yet it didn't make her voice waver even a little. Rather it seemed to make her singer brighter, a happier tone to a song about being forced to let someone you loved go. She song from the bottom of her soul. Tearing every last verse of the song across her heart as it came to a close she smiled brightly blinking away the tears in her eyes before shaking her had with glistening laughter. "NOW THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!" She would have been loud if she wasn't yelling into a microphone. Of course even then she could barely be heard over the roar of the crowd. By now the fact a famous singer was drunk, and singing karaoke had gotten out to the public and people were piling into the club trying to get a good view of the now free show. "What should we sing next Winters! Come on!... And someone get me another drink!" A random person in the crowd offered up there drink and Rosey reached down scooping it up and nocking it back with a laugh and a blow a kiss towards the person.Randall Winters
Jesus fucking Christ, what have I gotten myself into? Even if it could be good publicity, it's not like anyone will remember the band or me when she's stealing the show. They'd better pay me extra for this. He gave a somewhat nervous chuckle at her words. Apparently the attention was getting to him a bit, even if it wasn't so uncomfortable. "Uhh... I'm sure the audience has suggestions. How about it?" He decided to do his own part in playing to the crowd, then quickly tossed a plectrum to a random young woman at the front of the crowd and leaned in to listen; he almost wouldn't have been surprised to see a stampede if he didn't specify which crazy fan he was addressing. He could only hope things wouldn't get out of hand.Roslyen Van Steele
Another drink was passed, another song played. This repeated over and over as they sang. Her laughter was infectious, bringing joy as she all but begged the crowd for there attaion every song coming out a masterpiece from her lips. Angel, Ticket to heaven, Hail to the king, I miss the misery, and finally one of her songs upon popular request from the crowd. All the things she said song almost slurred to a women she had pulled upon to the stage, at down in a chair and openly sung her heart out. Roslyn poor PR Agent was having a stroke in their sleep, but it let her forget her failure. The mistake that was the Bloodbolt incident. She felt young and free again, just a girl at a bar laughing and drinking. Of course around her the crowd was loving it. By now the local Paparazzi had arrived and were sneaking photo from among the crowd. Panting Roselyn turned to her new favorite person, this mystery Winters and gave a big drunkin grin. "Now this is a good time! Come on give me one last song if your up to it. Then lets get some drinks on me!" Someone in the crowd shouted out, "For us?" "FOR EVERYONE!"Randall Winters
As unexpected and chaotic the whole thing was, he couldn't deny he was also having a good time. It wasn't often that the crowd actually went wild with him on the stage, and this night was certainly smashing all his records on that front even if he wasn't the center of attention. At least it was good exposure, not that he was likely to be mentioned in any of the articles. He didn't exactly get to play with someone famous every day, if ever. "Alright, we'll come up with something, you'll know what to do. Just wait and see." By now he was more comfortable with the situation, and seemed to have something in mind that at least he himself must've found funny. After briefly convening with the rest of the band and convincing them - though clearly the idea surprised them as well - they got ready to start, with Randall giving a nod at Roslyen to just sing along once as she'd recognize it... Except there was nothing for her to sing. He actually had the nerve to pick YYZ.Roslyen Van Steele
Why that little The sound of rushes YYZ coming to her ears after a few seconds had her foots tapping to the beat with a stupid grin. He had played her. A song with no words for her to sing just a beat and a simple long, solo. Of course Rosy loved a good challenge. Giving Mr. winters a few moments of glory she gave a slow bow, almost mooning everyone behind her on stage as she stumbled. She managed to keep but her dignity and the color f her underwear to herself as she stood up and patted the dust of her dress. "So that it is it? fine fair game." She with a proud strut walked over to the bassist and with the sweetest smile gave him a quick kiss and "borrowed" His bass. swinging the strap over her shoulder she gave him a wink and walked to stand side by side with winters. "Ill bring it right back I swear!" Giving it a few test strums she looked down at winters and starting playing right along with him, her eyes focused on him as she played along.Randall Winters
Is she completely insane? She couldn't walk a straight line, like hell is she going to play an instrument without ruining it all! As satisfied as he was with being able to get under her skin like this, clearly he was taken aback by the bold response. Challenging someone with a horde of fans on the scene like this was arguably risky to begin with, but now there was no way for him to back down without completely losing place. Probably best to just play along as if it was all planned, then. Maybe it wouldn't be a final victory given how drunk she was, but he'd at least make it clear he wasn't some nobody. As such, he didn't shy away from meeting her gaze as the show went on.Roslyen Van Steele
Drunk, sure. That she was, yet her fingers danced across the strings like leaves in the wind. Blasting out a wonderful matching tune to rival and bassist. She loved to play string after all, and while she preferred to play violin, or a full bass. A bass guitar was still right at home in her hands. Her gaze never left his as she improvised her part to better macth the lead. playing a lower and deeper thudding to his high roaring guitar. She lived for this, the thudding music and the love of the song. This was were she belonged nothing could touch her up here. All 7ft of women jammed like she never had before. Rolling her bare fingers across the string as she, while visibly shaking a bit seemed o have no trouble playing. Muscle memory at its finest. Of course while her fingers had no issue her brain seemed to be lagging a small bit. She wasn't off or lagging behind it just was more of a copy then a true reinvention of the song.Randall Winters
Since his mind was quite clear, he was perhaps able to be slightly more inventive with the way he was playing. Still, despite certainly being competitive about it, he kept it to a degree where it didn't conflict with her or the rest of the melody. In such fashion the song eventually came to a close, now more decisively given her earlier statement. While the crowd certainly wouldn't have minded hearing more, enough time had passed by now to make it obvious enough that this unplanned stunt couldn't have gone on much longer anyway, but they looked on with much anticipation to see what the star of the show would do next. Likewise, Randall gave her a curious look along with a satisfied if somewhat exhausted smirk. There was every reason to believe he was willing to take her up on her offer, but first it was time for her to confirm the show was over for now.Roslyen Van Steele
The show was over, a good musician should know when to leave people wanting more. Sliding the bass to her side and stepping over she wrapped up winters in a one armed hug and yelled out to the crowd having them both give a bow, her strength and pure weight not really giving winters a choice "Thank you! That was amazing give another screaming applause For winters!" Rosey was a giggling mess as she moved ack to hand the bass off to its owner before hoping off the stage. Giving winters a wink and a wave. "Come have a drink winters. Vip hass the best liquor. Oh your still here! come on sweet thinggg" She was flocked by fans within second, well both fans and people who just wanted to show off to perhaps the most famous person in New Victoria. Wrapping a arm around a girl she swore was hanging off her earlier she made her wave towards the VIP area once more. Clearly intent on making the bouncers life hard with all the Cameras and cheering fallowing her.Randall Winters
Still not entirely accustomed to her forwardness, he barely managed to stop himself from struggling against the sudden contact. Not that it would've made much difference with her size taken to account, and it was part of the show anyway. Similarly, he received his share of the applause with a bit of awkwardness but managed to not make more of a scene than it already was. VIP, huh? I did always wonder if that stuff is as good as they say or if it's just too expensive not to praise. Seriously though, is she planning to keep dragging that girl along all night? Since resistance would've been futile, he simply followed along and gave vague responses to her exclamations while trying to keep tabs on the crowd around them - quite a challenge even for his senses. At least things should calm down a bit now.Roslyen Van Steele
Pushing past the bouncer, who by the looks of it already had his hands full with the suddenly packed club. Roslyn merely gave a joyous wave before moving back to the booth she was at earlier up on a raised platform above the main floor. Plopping down into the lush violet cushion she patted the space to her right, as to her left the random fangirl was quickly curling up and leaning n the popstar. "A bottle of...well anything at this point please!" She just called out loudly, having no idea if a server heard her or not. "I have to say winters! That was amazing its been so long since I've played with anyone like that! it was sooo refreshing!"Randall Winters
He accepted the seat without complaint, giving a shifty look to any people who might still be trying to follow them, and finally turned to face her, trying to ignore the third person next to them. "Eh, just a regular Friday, maybe a bit more crowded than usual. You were all right as well." He responded with a shrug, not entirely sure if the smug act was in his best interest in the long run. But at least it had gotten him this far, and this was a prize worth enjoying.Roslyen Van Steele
"I seee, Iseeeeee Shitt your friday nights aree way better then mine. Half the time I'm just sleeping by this time" A hearty hiccup and and little giggle as she leaned over to the right leaning on to the curl at her waist. Even sitting down she was a impressive size. taller then most and her head easily seen above the crowds of people outside the vip and in. Reporters were trying to get closer but the bouncers for now were doing their best to hold them off. "You play like amonster you know, your sound is just..wonderful! I have to know were you learned to play.. No wat. Self taught? I knew it!" She would fully just ignore the man already going on to her next thought. "You don't have a label right? could soo tell because you and your bandmates just didn't sync up. It was good but the skill and performance gap was clear your a solo bird!"Randall Winters
He was having some trouble getting a word in, only offering a nod at her inquiry on his learning background, but at least things weren't getting boring. And there was plenty of anticipation to go around as long as he couldn't be sure if she had an actual reason to bring him over like this. "Nah, haven't really found a group that matches my style, so it's more of a one gig at a time kind of thing. Guess I'm a bit of a bohemian, or something like that." Or in other words, haven't found a group that's willing to tolerate me more than occasionally. Their loss.Roslyen Van Steele
"Well of course not Dummy! Your a dam star! Stars shine best alone the more you toss into the sky the dimmer they all look" I would know "Well Since you admitted to not having a label or a boss let me be the first to snacth up this lovely cricket!" She giggled at her own rather bad joke on how she was a song bird eating bugs.. Only to then turn rather green as she thought about the actually act of eating bugs. Shaking here head trying desperately not to puke she layed her head down on the table Crushing the poor girl that was on her lap against her thighs and her abs. The girl wouldn't move for a bit. Then start to weakly flail. "I think I drank to much. Imma be sick... We should get some air..No?"Randall Winters
With a mildly cautious look he subtly moved a bit further away from her, none too eager to be either crushed or vomited on. This woman was starting to look more and more like a serious health hazard to those around her. Didn't even finish my first drink yet. Damn it. "Er, okay? But what do you mean, snatch me up? It's not like you'd need a new guitarist or anything like that, and this sure as hell isn't a place you should look from if you did." He noted with a raised eyebrow. This was getting a bit too random for him to take without proper answers, next thing he'd wake up with a missing kidney if he just followed someone this chaotic around.Roslyen Van Steele
Of course While he had just started his first drink, she was several bottles in to he depression and hatred fueled selfish drinking and partying. The fact she wasn't doing blow was only because she had for the most part a healthy idea of how dangers she could be if she lost true control of herself to those around her. "We all just wanna be big Rockstar's live in..." She sung quietly to herself as if she was trying to just will the nasusa away. It kind of worked, through as Winters and the girl currently struggling to breath would notice it was a bit more then that. Steam rising off her body as it started to forcefully absorb energy kickstarting her adrenal glands, her entire body going into overdrive.[enhanced, Engine, Minor x1, -1EP (14/15)]
"fuckkkkk My head...No.. No you don't fight my sounds... Im More of a sweet whisper your a hard scream. Beautiful in its own way... But my label would loveee to have you under it."Randall Winters
...What the fuck is going on here? No wonder evos are looked down upon, to be honest. He wasn't entirely sure whether to take the response as a compliment, and regardless of that it didn't quite answer his question. In fact, part of him was wondering if she was even talking to him. "I'm gonna need you to say what you mean there. What exactly do you want from me? I'm not some trophy waiting to be bought and stashed away by whoever comes asking, you know."Roslyen Van Steele
I'm offering you your shot idoit" Rose lifted her head and looked over to him. The girl quickly scrambled away panting and holding her chest as if to get a deep breath. Rose continue to ignore her. Looking towards winters she looked suddenly sober. Her body working in over drive to expel the toxins that were imparing her. "I am the soul owner Or Pedals Fall Inc. A music label based out of..Well currently new Victoria. With over a hundred artist under our belt, from big names to just small background players in Tvs, we handle it all. Giving people a chance to do what they love and make the world a better place... .What you think I'm this rich because of just my music.. daddy didn't a raise a idoit I didn't spend all my money on girls and shoes." She looked suddenly rather seriously. Like a hard smack to the face as her body was working hard to reach homeostasis.Randall Winters
Surprised by the sudden reaction, he half expected a hard smack to the face or something along those lines. You never knew with superstar divas. Still, what she was saying seemed to make some sense... But was it plausible? He couldn't say for sure, but there had to be a catch somewhere. Deals like these always fucked you over in the fine print, right? "Well, I mean... Obviously I can't just say yes without knowing what I'm getting myself into. But I guess I'm listening."Roslyen Van Steele
"Fair, I don't see you as a idiot. So that's fine. I'll give you a number to call and speak to my assistant." It was around now that a server finally brought Roselyn more to drink. Well the table as it was a full bottle of vodka. She smiled and took the bottle knowing she wanted to keep drinking before she started to think to much. The high of her impromptu concert starting to wear off already. Taking a hearty swigg she purred at the taste and burn of it sliding down her throat before holding the bottle out to winters. "You can look me up, I don't deal in failures. There is room in this kinda work for all levels in talent big or small."Randall Winters
I guess that's more like it. Still, gotta hope she's not trying to get me drunk for whatever reason. Oh well. He accepted the bottle and drank some, this may not have been so interesting in terms of taste but at least it'd help set the mood straight. "Alright... Let's say I'm interested and I call the number. So what happens next? What exactly have you got in mind for someone like me?"Roslyen Van Steele
She shrugged. Because to be honest she didn't know. She knew he had talent. She knew he was wasting his talent because he didn't have a band or at the least wasn't with a band that was good enough to be on par with him. Like most artist he couldn't seem to strike out in this over saturated market that was music. She couldn't promise him Madison square garden and she knew that. yet she could promise him a chance. "Up to you, I can make you do the shot. Only hand you the chance...How did that old timey rapper put it? If you had one shot. one opportunity?" She gave a small shrug and reached back for the bottle. It didn't taste good at all but it would defiantly do that trick. She smiled and took a long sip stroking the girl in her laps head slowly as she seemed to relax more and more again. Letting her worrys sink away into the bottle.Randall Winters
He gave a shrug in return as well. Maybe this was as spontaneous as it seemed, maybe things were bound to be uncertain, maybe she'd kick him out before long like the ones before. But maybe this was still worth the shot. "I guess that's fair enough. It just makes me wonder if there's an actual plan or if you're just trying to buy me first and then decide what you actually mean to do with me. Speaking of which... if you're buying me, I should probably ask what's in it for me, aside of the opportunity itself. Or do people usually just beg for the chance to work on anything with your name on it?"Roslyen Van Steele
It was a bit unsure who laughed more. Roselyen, or the girl hugging onto Roslyen side who one may get the impression Rosylen had bought. Of course she was buying him. There was never a doubt. No more then if she was just a normal girl the cute thing at her side would have slapped her and ran away. "Nothing bu yoru shot. Nothing is in it for me until after you sign on after all. Just a chance to show you worth in the studio. After all, since you know I'm trying to buy you, you should know after tonight I'm not the only one, and the competition will be all over you like hounds on meat, go ahead go to them if you prefer. Just remember which of us has a track record for success." Looking down she rolled her fingers along the girls chin before pulling her up and giving her a soft kiss, looking through her eyelashes towards winters after she did. "Kinda like a one night stand. Come morning everyone is going to be wondering who you are, and why you didn't stay. Almost like I didn't think you were good enough to offer a chance for a second date."Randall Winters
He squinted his eyes in contemplation as he tried to see any further negatives in the arrangement, but since there wasn't much guarantee of anything yet, there probably wasn't much to lose either. Maybe he shouldn't be so distrustful of this. "Nah, this night wasn't that special, I doubt anyone will think twice about me with you there... I mean, I'm great and all, sure, but still." The things happening in front of him were admittedly somewhat distracting, and while his gaze was almost hyperactively flicking all over the place, but the two women weren't exactly spared from his attention. "...Alright, I guess you got me. But no promises, you never know when things might fall apart. Not that I'm not trying, but yeah, enough about that. This had better be worth my time, though."Roslyen Van Steele
"Then youll call! Lovly truly lovly. Sweetie let me see your lipstick." As Roslyen didn't have her purse on her, she planned on just borrowing the girls. Taking the small tube of red lipstick she quickly wrote down a number on a napkin and handed it to winters leaning back comfortably in the cushions after she did. Happy her night wasn't only drinking and making a fool of herself in front of cameras. "That's my secretaries number...Well she is allso like my boss, and my assistant she keeps me from burning my entire company to the ground. Call her and tell her Rosey wanted you to have a day in the studio. I'll let her know to expect your call!" Business done rosy was happy. It was a good night. Rising up she smiled an d looked around seeming to strut a pose for the cameras even if their didn't seem to be any pointe at her currently. Running a hand through her hair. "Why I don't feel quiet so drunk anymore, I am in some dire need for some fresh air. Finish the bottle. Stay as long you want. Or fallow me. Doesn't matter to me"Randall Winters
He checked the number and pocketed the napkin with a shrug. Yep, this definitely seemed spontaneous. "You did just say that your daddy didn't raise an idiot... Oh, nevermind." He readily accepted, not one to let a good commodity go to waste. After briefly considering his options, he gave a shrug. "Eh, might as well come with. They'd at least throw me out of the VIP section as soon as they noticed you left. I'll let the other guys know first, it's not like people will care much about the regular band after what they just saw, anyway."Roslyen Van Steele
Roselyen didn't care much either. Her high was gone, her depression was back. The failure that was bloodbolt/henry was on her mind again. The glittering popstar seemed to get more somber with every step pushing past a guard towards one of the back doors. She knew better then to head out to the front were the cameras were waiting. People knew she was here, and making a fool. They would be dieing to get a photo of her as front page news. Stepping out back to the ice air she took a deep breath. Letting it pierce her lungs. It was almost as good as a nice night in Moscow. Almost, the liquor there was better. Of course the girl fallowed behind her having relised this was her chance. The popstar was taking her home, no matter what happened she knew she could get something out of this. Weither as Roslyn's new girlfriends or selling the story to the tabloids. Rosy would wait for winters outside, having reached into her bra and taken out her phone she was texting idly humming to herself in the back alley. Truly uncaring how it looked or what people would think. She could care later, maybe another time another date.Randall Winters
After a few moments he also stepped outside and found her. Given the fact that he looked reasonably ordinary and there was a far more sought after target on the scene, most people gave him little attention. Giving a mildly annoyed glance at the girl who was once again 'intruding' on what might be an important conversation, he cleared his throat once he was close enough. "So, uh... Just getting some fresh air or leaving already?"Roslyen Van Steele
"Who knows, honestly I try to not stay in clubs for to long. Becomes to much of a bog trying to dodge camrea and people begging for a mintue of fame with me." Roslyen gave a small shrug, she seemed completely at ease, as if it didn't mater who she was at that moment she knew no one could hurt her. There was no reason to be worried or scared. Starting to walk down the alley she motioned with her head to have the man fallow her. On hand typing rapidly on her phone while the other rested on the girls back. "You get used to the limelight if your like me, or it snaps you in half and you become a raging drug addict to numb the pain and loneliness. You know ow hard it is to find people who truly care and are good to you when your... like this?" She waved her hand down her body ignoring the girl freezing up a bit before stiffly walking back along side her. "Not just the fact I am a Evo. But the fact I'm famous and people all but worship the ground I walk on. Hell did you know this little number was not only straight? but engaged?" At this the girl fully froze, Roslyen kept walking merely talking idly as she kept scrolling n her phone. "This life make people lie and scheme to get at you, or get something from you...and yes sweetie I made a phone call in the bathroom, had my assistant look you up.Randall Winters
He subtly rolled his eyes at the monologue when she wasn't looking. Yeah, never having to struggle a day in her life must've been downright tragic. He raised an eyebrow at the girl whose motives were being trampled on, then focused on Roslyen again. "Eh, there are always pros and cons. Glory is fleeting but obscurity is forever, or something like that." He said with a shrug, not really sure if a response was even expected of him. Either way, he didn't seem particularly concerned with the things she mentioned even if he was at least aware of the pitfalls of the industry.Roslyen Van Steele
"everyone says that till they are found Doa clutching the bottle of pills." Sure turned and took a few steps back never breaking her stride as she stared at him and the girl A bit of seriousness in her eyes. "The world is more then money and fame. People, and love is what this world is about. Just want to know if you understand that. I aim to make the world a better place one day after all." Laughing she waved the girl back towards her. Clearly knowing what she was doing and not caring much of it. "Care to finish out the night with me winters? See if we can find you something cute like her? Show you a bit of that glory your talking about."Randall Winters
First she gives a depressed monologue and life advice, and now she wants to help me get laid? That's either really weird, kinda creepy or hot as hell... Fuck it, I'm in. "Well, since you put it like that... Wouldn't be right to refuse." He said nonchalantly as if it was the kind of offer he heard every day (which it obviously wasn't). Yep, this really was his lucky night.
