Due to a lack of understanding of his power, he believes it can be used only on ancient artifacts through the power of their culture's history and the awakening ability he possesses.

Personal history
Sigfried lived a comfortable life growing up, and was ever a proud helper whenever the need arose. He loved, from a younger age, seeing that people would go to his father if they needed a doctor, and in a day or two they would be feeling better. His mother was a registered nurse in a different clinic, and came back with many stories of how she and his father would heal the sick and wounded. His family would often go to Renaissance fairs, each time bringing up that in their history a notable ancestor was a templar knight that would use a sword of divine fury to strike down his foes. Such visits instilled in a young Sigfried a fascination for history and how people lived in ages long gone, on top of his curiosity in medicine.
As he grew older, he learned more and more of the scarier and more life-threatening situations that his parents fixed, but never of the times they lost someone. He led himself to believe they would be able to fix anything, and wanted to follow in their footsteps, so he immediately began to pursue a career in the medical field.
One day, tragedy befell the Al'Daar family as a fatal car accident took the life of Mason, Sigfried's father, and it devastated Sigfried. Surely, in his mind there was a possibility of expiring, but he never expected it to come this quickly and this irreparably to someone in a family that prided on living to old ages. And the fact there was nothing he could do about it ruined him. Even inheriting the family blade meant nothing if it didn't come from his father's own hand.
After some time passed, he decided that he was going to study his other passion; the study of Archaeology. He quickly blazed through his studies, with extracurricular activities being that of martial studies with archaic weapons and polearms. After graduating, he and his mother moved to New Victoria to fulfill a position in the History of New Victoria Museum as the curator.
