Señor Convenience
Summer 2021, Week 5

It had just started to begin sprinkling rain as he exits the electronics store with his most recent purchases: many circuit boards, server parts and pieces, MANY sets of Lithium-Ion batteries, and other odds and ends like rf transmitters and receivers and a few minute lenses to make cameras out of. He makes his way to his modified Audi R8, parked near the back of the store. Because I'm a good person and can walk myself he reassures himself. "Jenkins, start the car." He speaks as a device, hearing its trigger listening word like an Alexa for Amazon products, processes his command and accordingly sends out a signal to the nearby car, starting it up remotely.Quentin Jones
The quick thinking teen had slowly made his way to the back alley. He just needed something new, he had a perfect plan for a project but since he didn’t own a plasma cutter, and the uni’s 3D printer was well busy with actual peoples important stuff he needed to make do again. Time for gold baby he excitedly walked nearby to the tech bin out back and stopped when he saw someone was back there with a horde of tech and watches this happen. He doesn’t comment just seems to quickly take a mental note and post up casually by a wall acting as if he was just a normal loitering teen. C’mon hurry up and leave jeez. Taking Fooooorrrrrreeeevvvvveeeerrrrr!Nathaniel Oakes
It takes a little while to get most of the parts off the cart and into his trunk, but some of them he leaves. Not noticing the person standing near a bin area's wall, he closes his eyes and focuses on some bits and pieces of the tech he recently bought, reaching his hand over them and willing them together to make a small waterproofed robot, large enough to walk the cart to a corral as he packs the last of his haul into the trunk.[Robot Constructor, Minor x1, -1EP (14/15)]
At this moment he finally takes notice of the loiterer, and smirks their way ast the little cart pushing bot makes its way to dutifully carry out its task. "Like the little trick?" He asks, his Mid-Atlantic accent making him sound like he was straight out of a James Bond movie.Quentin Jones
That’s cool I guess. But can he just hurry up and leave. Godddddddd hes soooo slow. “Nah not really jus’ makes you seem lazy. Plus wouldn’t it have be better to get it to help you unpack?” Quentins arms quickly crossed as he made that observation and sighed pulling out a weird looking cellphone out of his pocket. It looked like an old Nokia flip phone but had a full proper glass screen. “Not to mention, how would you change its codin’ less you can y’know do that with your evo powers. And even if you could it’s stupid to try and impress me by showing them off given recent events. Hella stupid idea.” Quentins mouth raced from one word to another like a formula one car weaving and overtaking other cars to win. He had a slight accent of someone some San Francisco which explained the quick jumping from sound to sound.Nathaniel Oakes
He scoffs at the slights, replying "Why, are you waiting for me to leave? I'm in no rush to leave. And you were the one staring, so despite what you might think I didn't do it for your convenience, just mine." Run Pass_Pro.exe;Destination=Remote_Device;
Install Silent_Bug.exe; He thinks as he uses the wireless device subdermally implanted near his temple to just barely install a tracking program that would leak Quentin's location to Nate via the inernet, temporarily deactivating a rather surprising amount of security software for a phone of such a trash caliber.

"Besides, the bot is only a simple thing I can do. I can do the same with my hands and a little time, it's just more convenient this way right now. Of course, I could have just walked the cart allll the way back to the corral myself, wasting more of your precious time." While his words and their sounds might not be quick as Quentin's, they certainly carried emphasis and weight that wouldn't be picked up as easily with Quent's speed.Quentin Jones
“I’m just relaxing here. Not waiting for you to leave. You just happen to be here, no offence but when you drive a car that flashy it’s askin’ to be stared at, things made for convenience often are shit.” Quentin fixed his jacket and leaned against a wall the phone sliding into a pocket as he looked off into the distance and tapped his foot rhythmically. God so slow. I gotta do a trash check hurry up. That “trash caliber” phone had been quite literally made of an old Nokia, some tempered glass and hours of his own software typing and security measures. The amount of Security was entirely surprising for any piece of technology, the security was almost back on in an instant but within those few microseconds it was already too little too late. “Just seems like making it for one purpose is a waste of money is all. You could’ve also been a jackass and y’know just left it next to your magic AI car. Which I’ll admit is impressive.” But I’m sure mine will work better Señor Convenience.Nathaniel Oakes
He shrugs as the constructed drone walks back to his side. "It's not all the drone can do, to be fair." He holds out his hand, the drone hopping into it. He smiles as he wills the machine to re-construct itself, stretching mechanical bits up his jacket sleeve to form into an exoskeletal device meant to assist with strength and coodination. "Things I make are quite adaptable."[Robot Constructor, Minor x1, -1EP (10/15)]
"I'll leave you to.. whatever it was you were doing. I'll keep in mind your advice to maximize my efficiency."Quentin Jones
“Uhuh. So got money and you’re a show off. Got it.” Means nothing if you can’t slum it. Make do with what you got outta the trash. Now hurry up and go. The foot tapping was beginning to overlap one another whole Quentin’s Patience was weakening. He had an important car thing to get back too. Also he had to stop by Home Depot or a friends house and borrow a sawsall for his car mod. “It’s calling chilling. Maybe you should learn to do it.”Storyteller
It was actually called Loitering, before stealing from a dumpster full of broken technology to be recycled.Nathaniel Oakes
He smirks and raises an eyebrow, commenting, "I'm pretty sure the term you're looking for is loitering, but I doubt that anyone cares besides the store owner. I couldn't care less." He shrugs, adding "I just don't have time to be chill; I'm far too busy for something like that." He climbs into the car, inserting the key and turning it to the On position. The playlist he listened to before he left the car resumes, the sound of crunchy guitar riffs filling the interior as he starts to drive off.Quentin Jones
“Public space and it don’t have a no loitering sign so it’s chilling.” Quen watched as the car drove off quickly grabbing some tech from the bin and vanishing into his own car. He didn’t want to risk being found out as an evo yet. Not by that douchebag. He smiled and rushed to his car turning it on the smooth baseline of ‘don’t sweat the technique’ began to fill the car as he drove off in his own direction.Nathaniel Oakes
He smirks as the display in his dashboard lights up, blips of signal tracking the man back to what looked like a college dorm. Excellent, now we have an insight for sir chill.Storyteller
Each techie made off in their own separate ways with the spoils of their own different means of acquisition. Only time will tell what they make of it!
