It was on that rainy summer morning that the "detective" had made it to the scene. A long overcoat soaked by the tears falling from the sky was held tightly. A coffee cup filled to the brim in one hand, the other tightly gripping the forged credentials of an EHEA detective.Ryder Hooker
There wasn't much keeping Ryder going, except for the cigarette half hung his lips, the flavour of nicotine gracing his pallet against the drab world around him. He'd never understood how some people could view it as a whirlpool of bright pastel colours, but that wasn't why he was slowly crossing into the fold. If there was still police tape or a beat cop guarding the scene he quickly flashed his "Credentials" he was quite happy to have acquired this skill. Just work it like you’re meant to be here. "The scene of where it happened, Okay Ryder, Enough playing around. You figured out you're an Evo." His ragged voice barely made it's way through the smoke bellowing from his mouth like the worn chimney's of years past. His bruised hand placed the fake credtientals away and pulled a voice recorder out with a picture of what Bolt was wearing that day before pressing the record button. "Well, with my newfound abilities I should only need a scrap of whatever he was wearing or what one of the AERI members was wearing. That can lead me to the next step. One step leads to another and case is closed. So lets take some photos and get to work. I'll keep the recording on." He quickly pulled out the camera and started to take some photos. CLICKCrank

Crank A few photos later he began his investigation, he had read to reports online of what specifically happened heading to where it ended between Bolt and Victory. The end of the fight would be the beginning of his investigation. He began to dig through, and once finding anything interesting he focused on it and touched it hoping something anything would happen.

The EHEA Credentials allowed Ryder to pass almost unopposed. The few times he was stopped were by higher ranking cops that likely didn't approve of a 'federal authority' walking around their crime scenes. When he arrived at the Warehouse, Ryder would notice the damage all around him. Scorch marks from either lightning or fire, shattered columns from where supernatural fists connected with man made objects. Materials strewn about from the powerful minds that fought here. As he moved through, his recorder would pick up a fairly clear voice. "Clench your teeth, and your ass, cause Daddy's coming for ya!" A piece of fabric picked up from near the center of a large scorch mark revealed sensations of pain, struggle, commitment. A piece of the shirt worn by the hero Victory. When he was attacked by Bolt. Ryder picked up the faint sensations of the absence of life for a moment. The truth of how close the man came to the end becoming clearer. A piece of black rock revealed more. It showed a face, strong and hostile. Connections to Bolt. A name....so close...Savannah maybe? A fire trail revealed another story. The death of a man more crazed than Bolt himself. A fast being who burned because of his own actions. All these connections started to link together in Ryder's mind as he moved forward. A tale about Blood Bolt and a crew of at least three. A strong man, a speedster, and a rock woman. More were hinted at from the objects he found. As for the AERI Team, he identified at least two. Victory from earlier, and a fire user. Maybe the one on the news the night of? What was his name again? Inferno I think. The recorder picked up more words, clearly still Bolt. "Did you. . .note, torch head? Remind me. . . to the end? If I don't have a pen I'll use the old man's blood to finish. . ." So there was something else connected to it? Bolt and a torch head...Inferno maybe? Another fire user? Some personal connection. Some sort of note. Some old man.Ryder Hooker
Any office that gave Ryder trouble he wouldn't do any actions besides read their badge number aloud and scribble onto his notebook. A silent threat that was ultimately null and void in the scheme of things but they didn't know they did they? When he reached and relived these memories his face would wince in a curious pain as he tried his best to write down what he picked up. "So. He wasn't alone, There was a name...Savannah? I'll need to look into it, A strongman a speedster and a rocklady....hmm I think I heard about a death of that......well an elderly man before the events that happened here. I'll have to investigate that lead further....." Each note was quickly recorded down, but he decided to take some more photos. He wasn't sure how much more he could get. He can always come back but now he has more things to add to his board.Storyteller
A lot of the photos would capture the remnants of the scene. The same damage Ryder saw earlier. Except one...One photo showed two silhouettes. One appeared to be Bolt on the ground, arm outstretched in the direction of another shadow figure. A large shadow in the far corner of the warehouse from the point of the picture. Tall, wide, appearing to hold his stomach. Bolt pointing to someone, or reaching for them?Ryder Hooker
He would find this out at home. After developing the photos and quickly updating his board and tracing the shapes. He had a few leads now, but Xander needed him. For something.
