Thursday early evening
St. Peters Light Cathedral, Old Towne

Numerous events happen at this Cathedral, sometimes there is a food drive to help the homeless survive another night and keep hope that things will grow better. Tonight was a youth dinner and a Christian movie. It was slightly more packed then usual, with teenagers from all walks of life having come for a free meal, the possibility of friends, or because their stupid parents had forced them to. Any reason really what did it matter they were in a house of god? The fresh smell of the volunteers cooking pressed through all of the walls. Smiles joined with hard work leading to small humming from the numerous helpers except for one.Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
Aloy wasn't humming as he was asked to help lift the heavy pots of food into the meal area. He seemed exhausted as he almost always did now-a-days pushing himself further beyond his limits every night, he wouldn't be here too long. If he was lucky he'd slip out the door when the film started so he could prepare for his real work. Even though he had gotten people hurt he still felt obligated to be a protector. "Right Marie that smells good, I'll go set up the DVD and the projector if no one needs anything else, anyone need a hand with non-cooking stuff? Since y'know I can't cook."Father, Callixtus VI Summanus
Of course Cal wasn't anywhere to be seen. He was there but was currently hidden in the back arguing with one of the sisters over the amount of sauce that belongs in a good spaghetti. They were honestly just not using enough. They had already gotten into a oddly heated argument about what kind of sauce they were using. Cal insisting on a vodka sauce while sister Marie insisted a more traditional tomato sauce. The good sister won over the father of course. Now doing her best to ignore him and pushing him out of the kitchen he was trying to control. Grumbling Cal admitted defeat and with a light cough stepped out of the back of the church moving slowly towards the large crowd of kids seated in pews ready to watch a movie. It was a wonderful sight truly. The house of the lord full of young believers wanting to deepen their faith.Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
“Okay. I am not needed here…..Uhm got it cool. Just…a useless hunk got it.” Aloysius slowly mumbled to himself under his breath before letting out a deep sigh and rubbing his tired sore eyes. Too many late nights beating people up for ‘the greater good’ whatever the hell he argued that to be. Aloy grabbed the old projector and started to carry it towards where it needed to be seated and began plugging it in while others ate and cooked. Are they staring at me? Do that know I’m a vigilante? No shut up calm down no one here knows. Aloy was being stared at less so I’m any sense besides a ‘huh I swear I know that guy’ from a few people from school. He finally plugged it in and set up the movie the blu-ray player slowly whirring to life before stuttering loudly luckily there wasn’t any audio yet and Aloy gave a simple WHACK to the top and it slowly made its way to the menu. “I uh got the right film rather Father?”Father, Callixtus VI Summanus
That voice. There was something oddly.. familiar about it. Cal could have sworn he had heard it once before. Through it wasn't quiet right. Something less urgent about it. "Yeah! I have it here! Passion of the Christ.!" Cal had to raise his voice over the murmur of all those chatting idly among themselves. It was a good crowd full of good heaven bound souls. Pushing through them slowly he was full of excuses making a slow path to the projector before handing off the move to Aloysius. Thats it, that why I recognize his voice he had helped me before. A soup kitchen I believe. "Here my son. One of the sister said we should watch this. Through I haven't seen it myself." No, but yes that correct but something is still a bit off.Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
There we’re a few things working in Aloy’s favour. The first being he wore platform boots as unbreakable, the second was tighter clothing. So he seemed taller and stronger. Aloy was however only wearing a pair of shitty sneakers that seemed to be falling apart at the seams and very very loose clothing that hid his form though certain things couldn’t be hidden such as he broad shoulders. “Passion of the Christ?” Dont say it Aloy. I know you wanna say it sounds like a shitty porno. I know but don’t this is a church. C’mon grow up. “…isn’t this rated MA? You sure you wanna put this on? Heard it’s got like the whole actual torturing of Jesus and stuff on it. Could be a lil extreme for the younger ones I think.” Another thing procreating the thin line between Aloy and Unbreakable was the voice. While Aloy’s voice was low for his age it wasn’t the super heroic and deeper voice of Unbreakable that was a pain in the ass to do. He looked over the disk before looking up to father Cal. Something felt oddly familiar but he wasn’t sure what. However he knew it wasn’t just from volunteering.Father, Callixtus VI Summanus
Of course the father even as large as he was looked different without nearly 60 pounds of plate mail, ceramic plates, and leather wrappings covering him. He was quiet a bit smaller out of armor then he was all dressed up. through there was little he could do about the hoarseness in his voice that came with his labored breathing while he slept. "I trust Sister Mary. Not all thing about the good book are Child friendly in today world after all, but it is still the good word. Besides this event is for teen's and young adults." Cal gave a hearty chuckle standing up to his full height as he did. Giving a light cough. Quickly moving to cover his mouth. "Forgive me, I was tossed off a ladder helping repaint the back garden. Still hurts a small bit. To breath." A white lie, a simple lie. one that would have been hard to trace. Cal waved softly as if dismissing any concern but moved away slowly his back to the boy. He couldn't shake a small feeling in his chest. "Go ahead and get the movie ready to play. We can serve food. Give our prayers, then wacth."Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
Now that he pondered the idea of Cal being that armoured man in his mind Aloy shook his head No he couldn't be.......but he does have a power similar.......it wouldn't be the first time the church is working against a group of different people... "Uh okay Cal. I guess I'll put it on but if anyone gets scarred it's on you not me, and don't you mean fell?" There was a sigh of defeat in Aloy's voice as he listened to Cal's excuse. That would match the power stuff.....but I should ask the sisters. Plus who uses the term tossed for falling.... "Actually father, once the movie is on I have to go. I have MMA training and stuff."Father, Callixtus VI Summanus
"I see, that is quiet saddening, but I will not pressure you to stay. After all training is something old monks often did to bring themselves closer to go." Cal would give a small chuckle, before walking towards the kitchen. He still couldn't quiet put his finger on were he remembered this Aloysius from. He spoke of MMA, perhaps he spotted him at the Hema Academy. That would explain why he just felt familiar. Armor does quiet a lot to hide a man.Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
"Well.....I just like punching the bag and stuff. Might make a job outta it. Implies I'm uh good..." Aloy would shrug and stare at Cal waiting til he leaves and making his way to the back garden to see if the father was lying. He wasn't sure what it was. It was just tugging away at him as he awkwardly excused his way through the crowd that had gathered ignoring any people wanting to talk to him.Father, Callixtus VI Summanus
The back garden. A place of light and love. Even at night when the angel trumpets and chocolate daisy bloomed bright seemed to glow. Of course the lights sporadically placed along the simple stone pathway helped out quiet a lot. It was closed off to the outside world with a large green hedge. Which cast dark shadows and prevented the lights from the streets beyond from entering to much of the garden. Every flower, every bush was pristine. Not a single one untrimmed or uneven. As if someone had spent The last several months perfecting this little slice of heaven. Even the wall of the church was painted perfectly. A simple freshly painted red brick. Yet while their was smudges on the wall were it was clear someone had messed up the painting. Beneath the smudge The bed of Roses were unmarred.Aloysius ‘Aloy’ Fumi
“Huh. Odd that it’s not in the plants when he fell, or that all the plants are perfectly even. Guess the father isn’t honest as he seems. I should keep an eye on his movements in the next few days.” Aloy nodded to himself and made his way back into the church as everyone ate and got ready to watch the movie attempting to sneak out through the crowd. …which was a failure given the fact he towers above every person’s head.Storyteller
Little did anyone know. Both of the people here were liars. Aloy wasn’t going to train for MMA he was going to spend his night fighting criminals again. Cal however for his major wound from the other. The suspicions began, who knows how long it would take for them to crescendo into a storm.
