  Something had been bothering him. One of his regulars wasn't present for the stream; an ex military man that lived right here in town, according to his IP address location. He usually was pregaming at the Magnificent Frog in the sketchy part of town while he watched, and openly admitted it in chat a few occasions under the name GunsStimsNSteel. And then there was the recent news.. "Jenkins, scan street camera feeds near the Magnificent Frog in the Wards district. I want to know what happened and who laid my viewer low."

"Of course, sir. Scanning now." The master occasionally liked to scan traffic cameras for different reasons, so this was a routine search even if it was less than legal for him to do so.   "There are records ranging from 00:00 to 23:30 for the night of the massacre, sir. No records exist from then until 01:45 the following morning."

"This.. is troubling, Jenkins. Whoever it was think they're pretty smart and wriggled away. But.." He grins, telling the hard drive remotely through the connection he had Jenkins establish to UNDO(delete). "They haven't considered me."

  He views the now restored clip, and sees the scene play out from the viewpoint of the street. The pair of men, one with dark hair and a leather jacket, the other with white hair and a denim vest, seem to have a lightning powered struggle for a moment before the white haired one vanishes in a flash of lightning, leaving the other to move into the Frog. Shortly after, the interior lights up and the video corrupts, clipping to the time at 01:45.   "So.. that's what happened. Jenkins, save the clip to the hard drive and re-wipe the footage after. I want to be able to ransom this information for a good price. If this asshat is well off, we'll make sure we take care of that and see if we can weasel our way deeper to give him a proper doxxing."   OuroborOS "At once, sir."
