Monizard

Monitor lizard tasting like chicken, though some sources also note it can have a vaguely fishy flavor and a bony texture. It's a delicacy in certain regions of Southeast Asia on earth, where it's prepared in various ways, including as satay, in soups, or dried like jerky. Yet on Jupiter it's their everyday food. They ride dire monitor lizards all the time that are the biggest in the batch and eat the small ones.

Juptearians just make it into jerky and call it Monizard so kids can say it easy.

Also used as it's made from a animal found everywhere like kangaroos in Australia. It can also last long travel which is needed on the large planet of Jupiter. Another thing that makes it used is its preserved state. The preserved state makes it last long and in bad conditions. Not soluble in rain or low in density enough to blow away in the wind.

The fishy taste is also nice for Jupitearians as something different from normal meaty tastes or sweet berries. Some even change it up by adding fresh fish to it in a nice refreshing dish. Though jerky is actually the most advanced well known technology on Jupiter for most tribes. So it's really a remarkable testament to Jupiter's smarts level. Which ain't high as you guessed, but it's fine as anything more than this jerky they all make is useless on them.
