Cthulhu grow good dance
The ritual is actually sadly started by the World god teleporting into the middle of town when founding and had a tenacle in his beard at the time. Then being funny made a ritual out of it for the noble of the Cthulhu house as he didn't realize he was talking to a god. Who he yelled at for getting dirt on him. Really the whole thing was a joke and punishment. Yet the family as a whole became more nice each generation, so the world god lost entertainment and stopped going as he felt bad at some point.
Execution
The steps of the ritual is to have towns folk fill a jar with dirt and carry it around all day then say to the territory master, while holding the dirt.
"I got a jar of dirt, I got a jar of dirt." While the master of the territory pulls a tentacle off his or her beard and throws it in the jar. At the end of the day the villagers shake up the jar and add it back to their fields with the tentacles they got. The World god would turn the tentacles into blessing power for the fields.
Only done still as a joke for the kids to enjoy as none believe in it no more.
Participants
The head of the Cthulhu house must attach a beard of tentacles to their chin. Then pretend to be afraid of dirt all day and not step on any dirt. The city folk also must make sure to fill a jar with crop dirt. A common thing that happened in the beginning was the World god would visit and give the blessing literally for it all.
Observance
The rituals take place on the first of spring.
