Smittare
Name meaning roughly: One who infects
Sighstens's analogue to Earth's viruses, that is to say, a microorganism that requires a host cell for reproduction. Although calling them a microorganism could be seen as misclassification, since they blur the line between living organisms and inorganic elements. It is important to note that the virus reproduction method is believed to have arisen multiple times on Earth, and so will it also be on Sighsten. But, for simplicity's sake, they will still be referred to as smittare despite not being closely related.
