Name meaning roughly: One who infects
Sighstens's analogue to Earth's viruses, that is to say a microorganism that requiters a host cell for reproduction. Though calling them a microorganism could be seen as misclassification since they blur the line of living organisms and inorganic elements. It is important to note that virus un-lifestyle is believed to have arisen multiple times on Earth and so will it also be on Sighsten. But, for simplicity's sake they will still be referred to as smittare despite not being related.
