Idodish steamed Bread

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The producer of this bread, keeps the recepy close to his heart. And doesn't let other know what goes into the bread. Which many rich and powerful try to discover, even threaten the man (who stayes anonimous). But those were empty threaths, because what can they do? Kill him? Throw him into prison? If they do that then there will be no more bread.

History

Bread is always a common thing to eat, but the Idodish steamed Bread during dinner time is relativly speaking a new thing. Created to make even the sqauliant dinner table look full, and even leave the stomachs of the poor satisfied.

Significance

The bread was desinged/created to complement the various stews and soups on the dinner table. But it became so much more, the bread became the life saviour of the poor people that often didn't have enough money to buy a proper meal. Often they only have enough to buy a single loaf of this bread. Which pleasantly enough is the only thing they need.   For those with more funds to their name, it is became a staple/ must have on the table. To do what it is designed to do, complement the other dishes that are their. The smell alone is enough to make stomachs growl, and mouths water.

Response
One bread please
That is no problem, madam. That will be 20 copper pieces.
Response
Alright let me see, my eyes are not what they used to be. Five, ten, fiftteen, nineteen. By the Gods...
Is something the matter?
Response
I only have nineteen copper pieces, good sire. I am not able to afford it. I am so sorry that I have wasted your time.
Do you really miss only one piece, Madam Gilberta?
Response
Oh, Milord Knoller. What are you doing here?
Buying my own bread, I love to do that from time to time. But let's go back to my question.
Response
Yes, Milord Knoller. My beloved daughter Aleken has being caught an ugly cough, and the doctor charged me a lot of money. Which I was willing to pay. Because I believed that I had enough money for one single bread, but apparently this is not the case.
I heard about Aleken, and I am glad that she is doing better. But now let me see about your ordeal. Sir, give this woman ten, I will pay for them as well as my own.
Response
You do not have to do that, Milord.
Madam, you have cared for me and my brother when we were children. It is thanks to you that I enjoy shopping for my own food. To make sure that you are provided for is the least I can do.
Here you go Madam, and have a pleasant day/
Response
Thank the Gods, the Old and the New, for the both of you.
It was no trouble, have a nice day.
