The Pact Session Seven: The Falconer and the Succubus
General Summary
- The Traveling Ballz were approached by a tiny human wizard, who had heard of their exploits
- Basically, he had fucked up the casting of a spell, a summoning to be precise, and he needed their help closing the portal on the downlow, in exchange for some cash, and summoning offerings left over, and a carriage
- The wizard, known as The Falconer, used his Mage's Guild connections to temporarily hook up the party with a pack of Axe Beaks to bear them swiftly to the sight of the portal. As it turned out, the fellow had been trying to fuck a succubus.
- At the sight, combat broke out and took most of the session. A handful of extraplanar goblins were trying to expand the portal enough to unleash their unholy mistress, and in the process forced the party to fight them and also a dire badger and also a hellhound.
- Eventually, the succubus got through and demanded the wizard. Utilizing trickery, Desmond made her drop her guard long enough for Vidar to knock her back through the portal, and Falconer closed it
- The party accepted their rewards, but insisted that The Falconer "owed them one" and they would collect it eventually
- Now with a rad carriage with dope flames painted on it, and an army of new donkeys to pull it, the party returned to Dragonscale only to be immediately summoned by the Lady Jael.
- See, she's attending a ball soon and is worried that somebody's going to try and kill her. Naturally, the party agrees to disguise themselves as servants to infiltrate and protect...
