General Summary
Waking up on the road, the party prepares for the long journey to Giving Town and takes off. They plan on stopping at Jeryvil, hoping for some extra work, as the town is famous for it's frequent need for mercenary adventurers.
Nothing really happens on the road, but that night their rest is interrupted by a boar. The boar is slain, and the next breakfast is bacon and ostrich egg, curtesy of Muri's survival skills.
Jeryvil ahead!
Once in Jeryvil, it takes all of five minutes before the "new, temporary mayor" charges the party with rescuing their old mayor and the town's adventurer's fund from a clan of bandits
Well, the party finds the bandits, who aren't keen on diplomacy. The old mayor is evil as it turns out, but she offers to pay the party their fee and a bonus for the bandit's horses.
A feast is planned in their honor
While exploring the town, Astolfo discovers that the town witch-healer is hiding a dark secret
Turns out, the town was plagued by a cow-fuckin werewolf back in the day, and the healer kept him in her basement for the last forty years, using his blood to cure people's serious illnesses while also accidentally turning them into werewolves. Basically, she knocks out all the werewolves every month with sleeping potions and in exchange for the potions and one of the werewolf elixirs, the party agrees to shut the hell up about the werewolf thing
Also the mayor is a werewolf and they blackmail her into giving the party some sweet property in the form of a two-story farmhouse and land, as well as a 10% stake in all crops she grows on their land while they're gone
COMMENCE RAD PARTY
Anyway, the party heads back out on the road and stop at Bonfire Abbey, a small walled town that's a religious outpost for The Guardian, who is Astolfo's god. Naturally, they are taken in for the night and that's where we left off.
