C2 Session 31

General Summary

They all stand in the captain’s quarters, each pondering how to unlock their magi capabilities
  • Koin grabs the training stone, summons a cloud of darkness, and goes to sit down in it to meditate and understand the darkness
  • Xodon walks into Koin’s bubble and throws a punch at him, but it phases through Koin’s darkness infused body
  • Koin teleports behind Xodon, then back into the captain’s chair
  • Xodon takes his magic dagger and teleports behind the chair, striking with the dagger
  • They both can’t see where each other is, but they know exactly where they are
  • Xodon’s hit lands, and Koin feels a sharp pain in his shoulder
  • Koin turns around and throws multiple attacks at Xodon, all landing
  • He then teleports straight above and begins falling
  • The stone on the table is shaking and glowing now, charged with magi
  • Xodon gets up and teleports to the ceiling next to him, then pulls out another dagger to attack with both
  • As Xodon lands his attacks, the image of Raulefit creates itself in his mind
  • He is neither an attacker or defender, and as Koin goes to react, he hardens himself and releases it, knocking Koin out, and sending him to the floor below
  • The darkness retreats into Koin, and a small blue wisp hovers next to Xodon
  • Koin begins having visions of past scenarios where he senses something, but cannot react in time
  • Dozens of visions play out, and then he senses a shadowy figure walk towards him in a void
  • The shape looks vague in dragonborn, but then it begins melting away into a mirror of himself
  • It is him, but not in his current form
  • This clone begins attacking him, but it is extremely easy to defend
  • The clone shifts into his form in Thera, more weathered, wielding the flametongue longsword
  • He teleports behind himself, striking with his sword
  • As he strikes, the dust clone disappears
  • It reforms into his current self, and begins running towards him
  • It is an attack he knows well, but then the clone teleports
  • Koin’s body reacts without his mind, perfectly dodging and countering every single move
  • Koin then teleports above and behind the clone, decapitating it with his vorpal longsword
  • He has gained full awareness in the darkness
  • A final figure appears out of the dark, a dragonborn in nothing but a cloak runs at him
  • The figure gets his attacks deflected, then deflects Koin’s, and goes for a feinted punch into a sweep which Koin dodges, but the sweep was fake too
  • The figure mutters the words “you fool” and strikes him with a more powerful force than anything Koin has felt
  • He is knocked from the darkness and back into the captain’s quarters
  • He gets up and hands the stone to Xodon
  • Xodon then enters a vision of the castle in the air plane
  • The doors are open, and he walks in
  • He remembers Raulefit telling him of a conflict that he should not interfere in
  • Xodon insists on going to fight, but everytime he goes to battle, he gets sent back to the castle
  • He is in an infinite loop, and eventually senses it and realizes that he should not fight, but should just wait
  • He waits in the front of the castle, and closes his eyes
  • He feels the wolf spirit in him, although he is Xodon he is also the wolf spirit
  • He opens his eyes and smells fresh air, as he looks onto the shore of Thera at the approaching fleet of ships
  • He does not have Zandriens sword or any other weapon he usually does
  • He tries to shift, but it does not seem to take effect
  • The ships arrive, and the slots open, letting loose the fleet of armada soldiers onto the beach
  • He waits, and notices that this time there are much more men there than before
  • They see him standing on the beach, and look very confused at his stance
  • Captain Ildrae walks onto the shore, and signals his men to move into the city
  • Suddenly, a hundred or so men rush past him, to attack the enemy
  • Xodon closes his eyes and can sense the heartbeat of each and every man on the beach, even though he is not shifted
  • He senses his legs harden with power, and can tell this is the time to act
  • He moves, and in an instant dashes 150 feet in front of the enemy
  • He goes to attack, but now he has a glowing blue claw that swipes them all away
  • His limbs revert, and the men are defeated, and Ildrae looks terrified
  • Again his legs harden, and he begins crossing the beach at hundreds of feet a second
  • He remembers the words of Poco, not to look for weaknesses, but let them create them themselves
  • He does not need to fight all of them, but hit one spot and let it all crumble
  • The enemy is being ripped apart, and Ildrae is screaming at his men
  • One soldier runs at him with a clear strike
  • Xodon has to let it hit, otherwise he will not make it to the other men about to enter the forest
  • He lets it hit, and it shatters against his skin
  • He moves to the men in the forest and throws them all away
  • He is doing so effortlessly, not shifting his entire body, but only shifting what he needs and putting the entire reservoir of his power into the one thing
  • Ildrae goes to strike him, but his sword shatters like the rest
  • He falls to his knees, and Xodon jumps 50 feet in the air, hardens his body, and drops onto Ildrae, ending the battle
  • He returns to the quarters, Koin finishing handing the stone to him
  • He sits down for a second, and Adrezill grabs the stone
  • He messes around with it for a bit, trying to harness his magi
  • He cannot seem to do anything to the stone, and is infuriated by it
  • Adrezill begins angrily punching the stone, letting out the rage he feels for not being able to even get close to their level
  • Zoroc grabs the stone, and tries to infuse it with his blood life essence, but it doesn’t do anything
  • Vale attacks it and it doesn’t do anything
  • Vale continues to think, and while she does, Zoroc tries to move his own blood, but the stone does not react
  • Koin leaves and returns with a sand barrel for Vale
  • She continuously strikes it, envisioning her sister as the barrel
  • She does six attacks in faster time than anybody has seen
  • Zoroc sees these attacks in slow motion, and senses her energy
  • He then uses her own energy and her body begins moving more fluently, as he is completely in sync with her
  • He finds that it is more efficient to use other people’s bodies as the battery for the blood manipulation he uses
  • Vale lets out 16 attacks in six seconds, and decimates it
  • Energy flows into the stone, and zoroc grabs it
  • He is back in Estroza
  • He sees a happy content Siren
  • He sees others using hemocraft to grow crops, and Siren the prodigy raises an entire field in seconds
  • He is not forcing the plant to grow, but simply helping it do what it already wants to do
  • Zoroc can give the extra necessary push to a being that has a strong will to do something
  • He sees a boy who has his toy stuck under a rock, but is failing
  • Zoroc uses his energy to give the boy the power to lift the rock, rather than manipulating his body to do what Zoroc wants
  • The boy lifts the rock easily, and retrieves his toy
  • Zoroc is brought back to the quarters, and hands the stone to Vale
  • She is suddenly put into Zandrien’s pit, the gladiator arena in which she was raised
  • Now she does not have to use energy to exhaust herself for extra power, she can just channel it to gain more attacks
  • Once she has a chain of attacks going, she can become unstoppable
  • She is back in the quarters, and sets the stone down, leaving only Adrezill to unlock his true potential
  • Adrezill spends an hour swimming in the ocean with the stone, but it doesn’t do anything
  • He spends multiple days studying the stone and trying a million different things, none working
  • In anger, he chucks the stone into the ocean
  • It hits the surface, and turns pitch black, then back to blue
  • Adrezill is hit with a sudden wave of energy, and tidal waves and whirlpools begin forming
  • Adrezill tries to control it, and the entire fleet is submerged in water, upside down, and blue tendrils come off of him
  • He is integrating himself with another plane, as his magi doesn’t reside on the material plane
  • His magi comes from not just the plane of water, but all other elemental planes
  • Adrezill suddenly is moved to somewhere in Dragol, in front of a tower where he sees all of the elemental keyshards, floating inside of a gem
  • There is a man with black onyx armor, half of his body withered
  • He stares at the keyshards, and three goliaths meet him at the top of the tower
  • The man begins talking to the goliaths about his plans
  • Adrezill continues looking at the shards, all together, and feels something trapped inside of them
  • He walks to the top of the tower, and reaches inside the gem, feeling motes of energy trapped within each of the keyshards
  • The man in black begins reciting a ritual, which Adrezill can tell is not made well
  • He can feel the spell asking for his power, and Adrezill grants that power to him
  • The man’s armor turns gold, and his arm heals with fire
  • Adrezill is sent back to the ships, and they all turn upright
  • He has awakened himself as the elemental avatar
  • They all gather, and call Dara over, filling her in on all of their knowledge of the keyshards, before having her cast a spell to gain more knowledge on the keyshards and their purpose
  • She finds out that the keyshards were made for wards of protection on each of the separate plane
  • The dragons found these shards and used them for a ritual, and split up again, and are now being collected
  • In the depths of the ethereal plane lies a tablet, and when the keyshards are put into the tablet, they release the princes of the apocalypse, who will unleash a war and wrath upon the material plane so powerful it will completely annihilate it
  • With this new knowledge, they prepare to set sail for a new destination and make plans to stop Daemon
