C1 Session 8

We have just completed the riddles, and now we are faced with a staircase that has been taken by the elements. We all head up the staircase, about 100 feet high. The artwork on it is interesting, the dirt looks alive, the water is flowing, the smoke is rising, all of this art seems to be animated. There are all types of green, blue, brown color effects, as we reach the top. At the summit, there is a horde of treasure, but most of it looks gone through already, seems to be an official treasure. Everything has clearly been raided vigorously. On all four walls are archways, with chambers off to the sides with drapes over them, one green, one blue, one red, and one white. I walk to the white drape and look behind it. There seems to be a great hall in there, with decorations and such and a balcony at the end. The left and right walls at a distance are shelves with fine cutlery, crafts, and dinnerware. At a closer glance, many of them seem to be a discolored gray, as if to have been made out of stone. Also, as soon as I pull back the drape, I can feel the wind hit my face, and looking out of the balcony even from where I stand, I can see the sky and a small bit of land. As Murfy throws a plate on the ground, something in the treasure room skids around and makes a small skirt noise. I walk back to the drape and peek my head through, everything appears to be normal. Raiden notices something is stinking, and all the sudden we notice some gray, pointy eared, long limbed, grinch looking creature attached to the ceiling. Various flies and pimples and mucus around its head, and its barbed teeth are smiling. As it sees us it drops and speaks an unknown language. As he speaks, we hear it in our mind in common:”who disturbs me”. [[Murfy]] and him conversate, he says that solving the riddles proves us not to be fools. His name in godhood translates to the devil. He is the devil. We’re fighting satan. [[Arturim]] just did a cool move and I’ve decided to call it the time-stop twister. Fighting continues, and he suddenly pops a stinky and dashes through the red drape. I chase him in there and punch him hard as f u c k. Arturim stuns him as well as he goes flying off the balcony, and is officially murdered. However, there’s still a nightwalker behind the drape. [[Raiden]] comes in and slashes it. Fast forward, we take it out. We’re in the red room chilling. We go to the balcony and look over to see hundreds of acres of land. We also see the devil falling and hit the ground really fuckin hard. We turn back around and see more staircases that lead to the next floor up. We walk back out and some random dude on a fiery obsidian horse shows up. He thinks we killed the champion and now he wants to kill us. We killed him. (note to self, try to stun the horse next time). We head up the staircase to the next level, and it is a sight to see. Everything at the top is being held up by 4 large pillars. There is a dome covering the top with a mural depicting the 5 dragons flying through the sky. There are 4 points on the ground that lead to a pedestal taken by the elements. Behind the pedestal is a man in black armor touches sigils on it and releases a powerful arcane force in a beam that shoots up into the sky. Multiple beams focus in behind him, each one more powerful than the one before it. The man has fair skin and elf ears, short hair cut just beneath his eyebrows, and half of his face is a grotesque scar, deformed and covering the entire left side of his body. Resting against him is a weapon never seen before, a double-bladed scimitar. All the energy shoots into the stone pedestal, punching a hole in the dome, crumbling the dome. The diamond is shooting out a beacon of power. He whispers”finally” and the beam shoots into his armor, and he grabs his weapon. In the corner we see a bag full of books, all of the books that have gone missing. He starts spinning the blade really fast and now we’re fighting him. He runs over to us and as he does, the sword disappears, then he looks towards Murfy and a streak of lightning shoots out towards him. He grabs the scimitar out of thin air and comes down on him. Murfy repulses him and he flies back. F.F, we are not doing so good. Murfy is unconscious and I’m not doing so well. Wes is being a pussy and wants to run away but doesn’t realize that we’ll be followed if we leave, the [[The Avatar of the Elements]] will be successfully summoned, and our demise will come sooner than expected. F.F, we lost, Raiden died, and he was granted the power of [[The Avatar of the Elements]], he showed off a bit and destroys the keep. He pushes us with water back into the town of amulet. All the elements are coming together to take down the keep. We watch as he flies up, and disappears.
