C1 Session 15

General Summary

Standing in front of the old chapel where we were just sucked into a plane within a plane, [[Quinn]] and [[Murfy]] watch my lifeless body. After some small talk, we decide to head down the small mountainside and into the city. The city of [[Cirin]] has a very night london-ish vibe. Walking around, many of the citizens have horns on their heads of all different colors, similar physical shape to that of Pain, not the usual races. Most people seem to be giving us some weird looks. Unfortunately it’s quite late at night and not much is open, so we teleport back to the diamond ass to have some drinks and snacks. After eating, Quinn passes out on a booth, [[Arturim]] and Murfy head downstairs to sleep. When we wake up, Murfy makes a healing potion and immediately drinks it due to matters that will not be mentioned in these archives. As we go outside, Raven comes up to us and says that a letter came in addressed to him, but it might be an old letter for [[Hilda]]. It is a message from[[John]] , the King of [[Amulet]], informing Murfy that he wants to meet with him. Raven needs Arturim and Quinn for a meeting that basically is a lecture telling us that we’re dumbasses for going completely against the system that they have built for capturing avatars. She also tells us that [[The Avatar of the Voyager]] is the most powerful one yet, as it is not just teleporting a keep, but an entire fucking city. Cutting to Murfy in Amulet, he is disguised as he walks through the city. The guards tell him to hurry, as they believe it is the King's last moments. He walks in and the entire room appeals to all of his interests. In the middle, a large bed, with the King of Amulet lain across it, his usual scarred body. The king shoos off the guards and takes a good look at Murfy. He opens up a drawer and starts casting a spell, he reaches down and grabs a journal. He tells Murfy that there is no hard way to say this, and that he might want to sit down for this. He says he wants to show him something. Quick cut to us and Raven, and Quinn tries to sneak out. Raven catches him but he tries to run, so she splits into multiple selves and walks towards him. Now back to Murfy. The king touches Murfy’s [[Raven Eye]], and everything but him and Murfy go black. Then there’s a shimmer, and a glow, and they are in the weave. The king starts to bend the weave and a picture of [[Onye Aloura]] about 20 years ago pops up. It is Murfy smithing something at a forge, but Murfy does not remember it. Reality shifts again. There is a woman with silver hair, about Murfy’s age, and she is beautiful. The king asks if he remembers her, but he does not. Reality shifts again, to a candlelit night. Murfy sees himself with this woman. She is in the kitchen scrubbing dishes. It is a happy feeling, but Murfy does not remember it. He sees himself walk up behind her and give her a hug and a kiss. He sees himself mouth words, and reading his lips, he sees himself say “my little bird”. She is impressed, and gives him a kiss. Reality shifts again to Murfy buying a ring. Reality shifts again, to his proposal to this woman. She says yes. All of these moments give Murfy the joy and pride as if he were there. Then reality shifts back to the king's bed. The king tells him to open the book. The book says “Dear Murfy, if this book is reaching you, then I have been successful. I'm sorry, but things are easier this way, as you’ll come to see.” He turns the page, and instead of the king next to him, it’s another version of him, a more adventurous Murfy. Murfy feels his face, and he is young, 14. The king is next to him again, and asks if he is ready to see his life. Murfy asks “won’t they need me?” the king says yes, but not now. Murfy says he is ready. The king looks towards him and takes Murfy’s hands. He sees his life as a master of magic that never had to endure slavery under [[Balakar, The Blue Dragon]], a life where he had his little bird, Elise. He asks what Murfy would’ve changed in his life, and he says he would’ve raised Raven better. Then all of a sudden he is in the ring shop, and he picks out the same ring that Raven has on. Then there is a flash of lightning, and he inscribed runes on the ring and goes into a room where Elise is pregnant. There is a quick exchange of words, but too fast to read the lips. Then he goes outside, where there is nobody else but him and Aidren. They fight, but Aidren’s elemental power is too strong, and the multiple chemical amalgamations are scarring his body. He doesn’t see much more, but he sees him and Aidren cross, and then there is a white flash. Back to the king's bed, where he sheds a tear. Then back to another scene, the waste of Onye Aloura, and a broken Murfy. He rushes into his home to see the furnished ring, in perfect condition. He takes it and leaves. He now sees himself in an unrecognizable suit of armor. There is then a transition from the naked, scarred body of Murfy, to a mechanical man. In the corner of this room is a couple other belongings, and the journal. The ritual continues, and one splits into two. There is a scarred Murfy, one who failed his job as a father, husband, and protector. And then there is a perfect version of himself, and there is a quick exchange between the two, as the new body takes the journal, snaps, and teleports to a place vaguely familiar to Murfy, but for no reason. The new body takes off the armor, and buries it deep in the ground. He then begins writing everything down. He meets a black haired woman resembling Hilda. They marry, and have a child together. This child spends their life running, and these events start to come to fruition. The clone continues to write, about everything, and everyone. Murfy sees the scar on it’s eye, and it’s age. It is Murfy. from a different timeline. The clone stands there, then walks over to the burial spot of the armor. He begins a familiar ritual, the one of rebinding an avatar. The avatar goes from the armor to an orb. Then he goes to a tower, and places the orb into a chest without a keyhole, and locks it. He does this seven more times, and leaves. Then it shows us three, going to capture the same orb that the clone put in there himself. The vision fades back to reality, and the king's eyes are full of tears. He says “I hope you know I had to do it”. Murfy agrees, but wonders why so soon. The king says Murfy still has one job to do that the king cannot fulfill. He flips to the back of the journal, to find the same ring that Raven wears, the same one he bought at the shop, and the same one he saw himself propose to Elise with. Murfy observes it. The king says that Murfy cannot raise Raven, but he can protect her. Murfy says he knows what he must do. The kings says that he hopes so, as he takes the hilt of the time vessel, and surges power into it, as his body scars further, and his lifeless body turns into clay, and falls to the ground. The vessel lays on the ground, glowing with power. Murfy takes the dagger and hears “you know what you must do” flashes in his mind. He grasps the dagger and travels back in time. All of his memories disappear. It’s the big day, the day that he will finally propose to Elise. He feels something in his pocket. It's the journal, telling him what to do, and his memories come back. He sees all of the steps, followed to a tea, to protect Raven. Nothing has changed. And suddenly, he is back in that room, with the king, and he brings him back to that first vision. The king asks if he knows the woman, and Murfy says yes. The king says that he can finally rest, as he lays back in his bed, and dies. Murfy slowly closes his eyes, and covers him with a blanket. Murfy goes to leave, and as he does,  he feels a sharp pain in his body. Looking at his wrist, he notices that his body has just slightly started to decay, a very, very, slow decay. He leaves and returns to the headquarters, where he convenes with us in the meeting room. Raven informs us that the voyager avatar will be here in about an hour, and that it’s been acting on its own accord, teleporting around the entire earth. Murfy flips through his journal, and finds the location of the chest. Quinn goes to get a drink, but his planar pings are going buck wild. A fucking monolithic portal is bout to open in less than 5 minutes. He gathers me and the rest of the members up and warns of the portal. Back to Murfy in the swamp, he finds the chest, and the armor, cloak, and survival materials he needs. He teleports back to HQ and leaves the stuff in the room, as we all walk outside. Looking into the sky, we feel it about to happen, and boom, nothing happens. No portals, no invisible things… nothing. All of a sudden, there’s a faint wooooosh, as right above us, is some fuckin massive rock structure about 500 feet in the air. *Insert the fuckass fight with Mr. stab stab* A.K.A FUCKING GEORGE.
We get to the city in the sky, and we figure out that a suit of armor is charging the orb in the center. Quinn ethereal steps past the barrier, and walks up to the suit of armor. As he approaches it, a voice appears in his mind. It says “who… are you?” “Do you know who I am?” “I am the guardian of [[Zanhyiel]], the hollowed god of order. I built this city.” Quinn finds out that the avatar itself built the city to contain its own power. it is its own being, more powerful than the rest, and nothing can contain it, so it goes on its own free will. It circles the planet to keep moving and for protection, specifically everyone on the goddamn planet. It says that Quinn may claim it as his own if he can find a way to rebind the avatar. He eventually solves all of the riddles and is able to rebind the avatar, obtaining the power of the most powerful avatar in existence.
