C1 Session 13

General Summary

We have just finished the meeting and [[Murfy]] has decided to resign as the leader of the organization, and passes his duty to [[Quinn]]. Murfy calls Quinn up to the stage to give some sort of acceptance speech or whatever, idk. He makes his address and everyone slowly fades into a widespread applause. He sends everyone off to their regular business and we all head down to the third level. As soon as we arrive on the 3rd floor guards immediately flank us and ask for identification. We don’t have identification, whoops. Fortunately [[Raven]] lets us in and we’re off to the private library. Raven leads us off to a room where it seems like there was a chemical testing gone wrong, most likely where [[Hilda]] trained Raven. Another hallway leads to the massive library. Quinn asks Raven if she knows the whereabouts of the avatars, but she doesn’t know much. Arturim and Quinn go off while Murfy and Raven talk. All of the books are unlabeled and look near identical with notes from Hilda. However many of the books have different handwriting, as they were most likely collected and owned by many different people. Arturim and Quinn decide to investigate Hilda’s room for any clues. In her room are servants cleaning things. There are many paintings and drawings of her, what an egotistical bitch. In the middle of the room is a weird fountain that changes color depending on the angle it is viewed at. The servants upon closer inspection are just constructs, not real people. On the far left are chemical materials, most ongoing mixtures and experiments, a fountain as two staircases leading into an alcove with light at the top. There are notes on her desk written in elven about magical things, and trying to figure out how in the fuck to enchant items even at such a simple level like Murfy can do. She has enchanted items before, but it takes her weeks to construct the item and the enchantments never last for long. We then head up the staircase and at the top is a nice golden red bed, another smaller desk with a book on it, and a picture on the wall of a battle Quinn does not recognize, but Arturim does. It depicts the battle of Onye Aloura. Many depict the battle differently, some show the citizens fighting the dragons, others pose [[Aidren]] as some type of god, rather than an enemy. Quinn investigates a book with more of her notes on the avatars, then we both look for hidden clues. Quinn senses some sort of hidden area or thing beneath the fountain. He is intelligent enough to see some engravings in the bottom of the fountain. Cut to Murfy and he gives Raven a doll from awhile ago. She sticks it in her belt then moves upstairs. Murfy meets up with us in the room Arturim and Quinn are in. Arturim notifies Murfy of the fountain and he detects that just about fuckin everything in this goddamn room is magical. Murfy takes one of the tiny servants and chucks it into the water. Nothing happens and the servant seems to be a bit broken as it is now sweeping the air. He then casts identify on the well and sees that the spell affecting the fountain is stoneshape.  Murfy sees that various things throughout the room are enchanted with things that helped her be more efficient. He also sees that the conjuration on the wall is a beacon for something, a call that either tells someone to come here or lets someone call her. Murfy also discovers that there’s something beneath the well and somebody’s gotta go down there. Apparently Quinn has some spell that levi forgot about, haha get fucked DM. he casts a spell and the fountain shifts, revealing a staircase. We walk down and there’s a chamber down a hallway with a table that has sun shining on it. There is also a throne made of black metal. There’s a dude sitting in it and he greets us and looks at me. It’s goddamn fuckin Aidren, and he thinks Arturim owes him a life, what a fuckass. He hates Arturim and Quinn. Side note, half of his head is caved in skull from when Arturim kicked the FUCK outta him, so his voice is only in our heads, he isn’t actually talking. He outstretches his arm as the double bladed scimitar appears. Now we gotta fight him so that’s fun, I’m not gonna note this down and we might die sooooo. He also has a lot fuckin more than armor. Fast forward and Aidren got his physical form changed into a death slaad and plane shifted, so now he’s gone. Quinn wished for his items back and got them back.
