Celestial Colossi

Celestial Colossi were massive titans created by the gods in desperate hopes to push back the Aberrations. Each was said to be the size of a mountain, impossibly large warriors which all hope was placed into. Each god made their own colossus, aside from Pandemon. They were effectively the last creation which the gods made cooperatively, the last ditch effort. Due to their sudden creation, and lack of time to plan each one, the colossi were all somewhat volatile, and each was different from the last.   When the Aberrations attacked, these colossi managed to hold them at bay for a time. Alas, the Aberrations broke through, the colossi barely unable to resist them. If there had been the full might of 15 colossi, they may have been able to prevent the fracture of Thaekrin and Aeyaar. Because of their close connection to both Aeyaar and the gods, they are likely the reason that each god is tied to one specific plane. They also carry elements specific to the plane in which they reside, whether in relation to materials found in their plane, or something tied to their god's power.   It is said that, in order to preserve these warriors after the Aberrations had succeeded, the souls of the colossi were placed into small amulets so that they could later be resurrected to fight against the Aberrations if the need ever arose. If these amulets ever did exist, they have never been seen. Likewise, the colossi may not have existed at all, perhaps being a fictional tale to represent something else entirely.
