Fyrij is an entertaining member of the mini-Joyful, a group of travelers at the center of the Evenacht serial.

When he senses impending DOOM, Fyrij will screech, his voice so NOISOME that even the most hardy FOE will find their ears ringing and a headache growing.

Whatever catches Fyrij’s eye, he puts in his special POCKET on Vantra’s pack. His favorite bling are RINGS.
When in PERIL (after being caught taking said RINGS), he will SWIFTLY fly away. Nothing is as speedy as Fyrij in trouble.
Sparklies are not the only thing that catches his eye. Sometimes he will TORMENT a creature by WATCHING them, until they believe something is dreadfully AMISS. Usually, however, it’s him being a starstruck fan.
When he senses impending DOOM, Fyrij will screech, his voice so NOISOME that even the most hardy FOE will find their ears ringing and a headache growing.
If his raucous voice does not help him escape a FOE, Fyrij FALLS DOWN and plays dead. (this is mostly to keep from getting in trouble for stealing something or doing an oopsie he was warned about)
After successfully escaping a scolding, he will fly off to find another bling for his pocket. REMOTE BARROWS often spark his curiosity, because no one is around to stop his talons from snagging something pretty.
