Military action

Aman-Tal's position makes it a significant target for all sides in the conflict. Disparate factions repeatedly lead crusades to control the flow of gold and gems, to sell valuable cultural artifacts, or to conquer the holy city Aman-Tal for their own god(s).   The gods’ war decimates the great civilizations of elves, dwarves, giants, and goblinoids Human, halfling, and gnome ancestors moved in as those populations dwindled, including in Aman-Tal.
