Baldur's Gate
Baldur's Gate is the capital of the Erissian Imperium, serving as such for centuries despite going through many itterations of the nation, and through many different ruling houses. While the Imperium itself may be faced with a potential cascade of internal politics, the streets of Baldur's Gate fail to reflect this growing issue. These roads are rife with history, such as statues commemorating fallen heroes or significant people, a prospering trade from the coastal access, and the delightful climate available throughout most of the year bringing many visitors and potential residents to the prospering capital. With some buildings as old as the Imperium itself, this ancient history serves to help Erissians to remember the foundations the nation was built on.

The Imperial Throne
Lying in the Upper City is the High Hall. This walled compound serves to house the Imperal Palace and the High Court, while also defending these two buildings from any invaders who breach the Citadel Gate. The Imperial Throne is a magnificent palace with a stone exterior, but large and gaudy interior sharply contrasts the more utilitarian exterior of the building. In the throne room itself is a large, rectangular auditorium with pillars straffing either side of the entrance, with a velvet red and gold carpet leading all the way to the stairs and directly to the Imperial Throne itself. Below the throne and its staircase are two rectangular tables on either side of the carpet dedicated to the Nobles attending any matters needed in the throne room.Remove these ads.
