Aylsminster

Aylsminster is a small farming and trading village, the centre of the crossroads of the Coastroad and the Korsby Highway. It is well known for its whimsical nature, home to a talking statue that always lies, a magical staff in a stone that cannot be pulled out, and a brewery run by a (somewhat) friendly hag.

Government

Aylesminster is run by the Shivering Council, several merchant lords who hold their own interests in heart. They are led by a woman called Brithwe Hewncrest, a selfish and depressed human noble. Other members including the charismatic clockwork engineer Daedraticus Morvon and local orc tribe representative Ulfar Tonguebreaker.

The Stoney Staff

Dwarven Tavern run by a suspiciously inquisitive Dwarven Woman, Dinarv. The stone tavern is built around a large boulder with a crack in it, and in the crack is lodged a gunmetal staff said to wield control over rock and ore.
