Vallea
Vallea is a small city in the midst of the Vall Forest in the north of the The Vesperin Empire.
Demographics
Vallea, being in the Vall region, is largely populated by humans, however a fair number of elves and half-elves make up its populace.
Government
Vallea, like other Vesperin cities, is ruled by a democratically-elected mayor.
Defences
The city is surrounded by a thick log wall. It has rarely been used to repel invaders, though, as the city has existed in safety for nearly its entire history. Furthermore, the city is protected by the militia, the public defense force that protects the interior and immediate exterior of the city. Outside the city, the privately-owned Vallea Rangers monitor threats against the city and provide assistance to citizens in the form of search-and-rescue operations.
Geography
Vallea sits in the middle of the Vall Forest on the shores of Lake Vall. The forest is filled mostly with tall pines, which make for a lucrative logging trade.
