Mage's Robes
This set of robes can be any color, and typically have bright patterns and magical insignia. They are worn by magic users who are normally unable to wear armor, and the magic woven into its threads affords the user a fair amount of protection.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
By speaking the command word, these robes grant the user the effects of mage armor for 10 minutes, providing them a +4 armor bonus to AC and preventing incorporeal creatures from bypassing it. This effect can be used for a maximum of 1 hour per day in total.
