The second war to unify the world is declared

The Empire, having recovered and built up since losing the Sradian Rebellion, begins a war to reclaim the lost cities owned by the Protectorate and the Republic. Facing the full might of the Empire, rather than an expeditionary force as before, the two fledgling nations form an alliance in order to hold off the invasion. The Empire almost succeeds in breaking the united front but the offensive falls apart in the face of internal turmoil due to the war.
